depends how they throw, this first cross has thrown more to Bedlington, never had a lot of pace but enough to get by. she's 8 now and has lost what bit she had, her strength has always been hunting, marking, working cover of which she is good at. more like a reverse three quarter cross now.

seen a few three quarter whippet and they certainly wasn't too small or slow

it's 3/4 Bedlington so would agree with poxon, should be a good cover dog and mooching marking dog.

some lines seem to breed true, bitches 19 dogs 20, I was told my pup would make 19 and he was spot on.

lot of debate on whippet size, some say the big ones don't run like a true whippet. chap told me a whippet should be small, fast, agile etc, depends what ground you work, quarry you want, mines 19tts and only 23 pound, but I have no interest in fox or deer.
