  2. That’s crazy they usually go by hours of daylight and being at the shortest now that’s very unusual but the way the seasons are changing nowt surprises me anymore , are they kept inside or out ?

Folk get stick for watever path they take , it’s best to stick to what yourself thinks right and stick with it till it lets you down then shop elsewhere , I’ve had 2 half x lurchers out the same kc beddy lines and they have done exactly what it’s says on the tin , all my beddy terriers bar one have been hybreds and av been ok the kc one not so good but he bred some outstanding lurchers

All the lurchers when I started out were all whippetey /collie types and were all used for rabbits/ rats and there were some handy dogs amongst them , the lurchers started getting bigger with the new lamping craze I came into beddys by being gifted a half x beddy/grey 6 month old bitch by a lad leaveingthe country I was so impressed with its nose and drive i been smitten since even switched from Russell’s which I still think are the smartest and easiest entered terrier to pure beddy terriers so is it just a individual thing as I’ve seen good and bad lurcher and terriers a of all crosses , but
  9. I start basics at early age the rest comes as they go along I find with beddy crosses the drive etc is already there they just need that little fine tuning lol , but I must being honest say the best bitch I’ve ever had had a dash of collie in her aswell ?

  11. Well my first x not to bad picks up on shoots and will retrieve the odd duck off the water what got me with beddys is nose and guts ,the rest like any other x you have to put in urself

  15. If you only intend mooching rabbits you need something in its stride from take off remember in the day a rabbit rarely runs more than 25 yrds these little pocket rockets served me well when I started so will again Horses for courses

  19. The biggest threat to rabbits these days are riflemen not disease mixy not hit as hard in our parts this year but still no rabbits
