Your not wrong, I worked as a mechanic for 25 years and never once had anyone turn up without the money to collect their motor on the other hand my twin brother has a dry lining company and when we were younger the amount of people that wouldn’t pay was ridiculous, we spent a lot of time visiting people at home or on sites, it was always private builds or small building companies, most of them were because he was young and they thought they could take the piss, now he mainly does commercial because they are on a 14 day account so you know you will get paid or the bill goes up and we are gettin

We’ve had the money chat, and I’ve set my stall out, I’ve told him what I want, I won’t charge any more if it runs over or less if I finish early ( not much chance of that) I don’t want to come across as Ronnie Kray but he will pay me when I finish, I’ve never had anyone not pay or get money off, if we have an agreement that’s what it is, I wouldn’t ask for more so they can’t ask for less

My cancelled job is back on because apparently he can’t find anyone else cheaper than me despite telling me I’m to expensive, so a day of dumper driving today moving crap ready for a crazy amount of concrete to go in he’s got a cracking builder in, I’ve never met anyone who can’t lay block and who uses fence posts for lintel’s ( lol )

Haha, same here, it was my old mam’s 70th yesterday and I’ve booked a restaurant for tomorrow night and my brother and his girlfriend are coming, I bet a pound to a pinch of shit I cop for the full bill, cost me 340 quid last time

Finished off the concrete pad today, put a little sleeper wall in because he didn’t like the look of the concrete at the back, ran the services in, water, power, Kopex with data cable and speaker cable from the posh shed, 5 tonne of top soil and grass seeded, I can’t see what he’s got here for just short of 5k but he’s happy, he’s just got to get someone to build his outdoor kitchen now someone cancelled a job on me today for tomorrow, I thought about having a day off then volunteered to go and paint the stables we have just finished, I may live to regret that

Apparently they have reached Moscow, if he’s done this off his own back then the bloke is nuts, if he’s got the backing of a large amount of the Russian army and politicians then Putin’s time could be up, there doesn’t seem to have been any real effort to stop them getting to Moscow

I’d be keeping my eye on the country’s that the Wagner group have been involved with in the past, the likes of Syria, Libya and the African countries to see where their loyalty lies, although Wagner was backed and funded by Russia they were the boots on the ground not putin, and although these countries are relatively poor they are still capable of supplying Wagner with arms, Belarus is another to keep an eye on because depending on how this plays out they may distance themselves from putin

I’ve just read something that says they are financially backed by the Russian oligarch’s as they have been hit hard by the west’s sanctions, if that’s true it’s more of a political attempt to take control rather than a military coup

I think it’s gone too far for that, that would show putin had backed down to him at the first roll of the dice

To me, it all depends who on the Russian side is backing him, military coups never end well, they always need some kind of political backing, this chap is a war lord not a politician

Get in bed with the devil you are going to get burnt if you look back to Syria they were the reason Assad wasn’t overthrown, almost fighting a proxy war on behalf of Russia, full backed by the Russian government, in effect he is the Russian army, now you just need to sit back and watch which countries are willing to back him and supply him with weapons if it drags on either way it’s a bit of rest bite for the Ukrainian’s

Went to Tesco earlier in the hunt for old school lager, it’s full of all this new crap lager, one was 3 quid a tin, I had to settle with this, I miss the old offy where they only sold stuff to get you smashed
