    I don’t mind her coming with me, I think she misses out a lot not coming to the shoot days, getting to know new people and being out in the fresh air. I wish she had different views on where good food comes from and why we shoot, but everyone’s different and if we all liked the same things there wouldn’t be enough to go round

    Feeding on Boxing Day and speaking to the landlady she said they had had a good covering on Christmas Eve night, I’d normally be there for first light but the missus said she wanted to come with me, so by the time we got there the snow had melted, just leaving it very wet and muddy. One thing we did find out when we were feeding is she really doesn’t like the great outdoors and I can’t shoot the tree rats in front of her ( because they are fluffy and cute) I’ll be back up in the morning for more hand feeding and hopefully a bit of squizzer bashing I had an early evening walk out up ther

    I wouldn’t trust me to run a bath, never mind a charity shoot, I’m much more the shoot eye candy, if you need someone to stand there looking pretty ? I’m your man when the few of us get together who run the shoot in the next couple of months to decide what will happen next season I’m definitely going to bring up a charity day. We already sell individual days shooting just to top the shoot account up

    I love the idea of a charity shoot, I keep meaning to get one sorted out for the air ambulance, because they saved my mate mosh when he had a heart attack while out walking

    Yeah, he gets stuck in does little Hugo, that’s one good thing about my little shoot, all the kids that come want to be there, never complain, no matter what the weather and all get along even though they only see each other on shoot days ?

    No, there’s loads of different ones, but that’s the original and the best, I’d love one but couldn’t justify paying that for the amount of shotgun shooting I do

    Tall trees and the empire in Middlesbrough were the places we went after the rave days were over, we moved on from bottles of water and chewing gum to cans of red stripe and jd and coke ?
