With you all the way on that but did have a bitch 20 year ago that I still kick myself for not taking a litter off Just didn't have the contacts to find a suitable sire. what makes it worse iv never had anything come close since.

I agree not likely to yap anymore than any other unless given to much to soon,but the few I seen were yappers, I did mention prob down to owners but I wasn't taking any chances with him. Got him at 6 weeks been in the field from 7 weeks, slowly slowly all the way with him, picking everywhere I been to compensate having this youngster along with the bushers. Couple of easy rabbits pushed out across long grass meadow started him off for few easy catches. Works round the cover well anticipating a bolt and few green bunnies on the lamp to get him going. All good so far chee

I'm not worried about a scope either, iron sites is all I need, just find it easier type of shooting I do, not out to make any money on this just after something lighter in good working order, not worried on looks just sound working and capable of knocking over few bunnies, pigeons and squirrels. Shame to put it away and not use it after the work Jimmy put in so be nice to do a straight swap and for someone to get the use out of it. Like Jimmy said blueing all but gone other than that she still sound cheers?

Read that it was common to do so, prob not wanting waste time with a lay up if they wasn't supposed to be there.
