    We turned two baydog hogdogs loose one night.They left on a hog.Ran him 2miles until the hog ran through a bison farm.The curs decided to bay up a bull bison.We all made it out alive but wasn't fun catching the dogs. One day me and my father was walking a lurcher.This lurcher had quickly dispatched everything he had been on.We could see a black dot on the horizon.We assumed it was a coon so we slipped the lurcher.It was a Skunk!     I've sent a teenager to find a pipe stretcher.? When me and my father would take teenagers hog hunting.We would be walking through the woods and my father would shout ,Dont step on that rock !     I have learned a few things on how to get a bitch in heat.Maybe it will help someone.If you have an older bitch who suddenly stops having heat cycles it is usually from a low grade infection such as a bad tooth or busted toenail.Usually if an older bitch has any small infection she won't come in heat.In this situation i run a round of penicillin and usually the old bitch will come in heat in a couple weeks.Im not one who uses antibiotics much but this is one situation I will.I have had great results with this on multiple breeds across Dixie.     Glad you enjoyed them.That snake was a rat snake.Non poisonous.As far as poisonous snakes we have copperhead,rattlesnake and cottonmouth.In the swamps that I dig I mostly encounter cottonmouths.I killed these two around January 2020 During the summer the swamps are full of cottonmouths.

    Coons in Dixie went back up trees a few weeks ago.So I basically hunt beaver this time of year as they don't welp until April. I headed to one of my favorite spots.While the terrier was trying to stop a beaver I seen something bolt out the backside.I ran it down and caught it.It was a beaver kit who looked to be a couple weeks old already.I held the little fellow until I could catch the terrier.     I knew a few old time bulldog men.They would say that a black terrier is meaner than any bulldog. Some of my young male terriers can be dog aggressive.I take them hunting on the river.If they act up I baptize them.If they act up again then I baptize them again.Sooner or later they will behave as Christian dogs?

    I can't take credit for that one.Hes the only one in the kennels that I didn't breed.I bred his mother. I started with cobby types.I inbred until they looked like whippets.Now days I'm linebreeding instead of extreme inbreeding.With the linebreeding I'm starting to produce the cobby type again.

    He's my largest terrier and struggles in some places with coon but works well on larger quarry. I would say on average I encounter 20 different otter.Some of these I will encounter 2 or 3 times in a season.

    Those are in south America.There is pictures of a 3 foot north American otter catching and killing a 4 foot gator.

    The news said it was 4 otters and the husky weighed 50 pounds. I have personally seen a 15 pound otter drag a 40 pound grass carp through the swamp.They have superhuman strength for their size as they swim all day.Their only weakness is their blind courage.
