Well done on your first attempts - ive read tuff, looked at video on here and it still seems way too daunting but id love to have a go - i like the making side in my hobbies - wether thats whipping rings on a sea rod, making a gunstock etc - nets - well........is there someone local to me who could give me a couple of hours to show me the ropes if you'll excuse the pun - i need something to pass away the dark nights when the shooting isnt happening etc - plus i neeeeeeeed nets and would prefer to make some out of decent stuff rather than buy ready made thin tangly ones atb chris

worth watching for entertainment value - surprised that terriers legs can cope with his fat arse though and catch owt' - cringeworthy at times but you still gotta like em - notice the bbc dont give a shit about pc when it suits em like the other week when the older one was rabbiting with a rimmy - just getting his 'eye in' on live quarry probably never picked a gun up for years. any way - more ratting on tv please, less beastenders

heron or herring!!!!!!!!!! theres a few koi keepers round here who would gladly pickle heron!!! as a nipper being 'babysitted' by my dad in the local wmc (affilliated, of course!) - while my dad, grandad and uncle were drinking pints of mixed, black n tan and playing crib or darts, me and my cousins would wreak havoc in the concert room (nowt on on a saturday afternoon) - wed be scoffing bensons crisps, big d nuts, pickled eggs, jars of cockles and those packets of crackers with pickled onions and the famous wooden knife - happy days -especially the hand pulled shandy that was mainly b

STEVEN GERRARD CAN SUCK MY NOB! ROONEY ROONEY ROONEY ROONEY ROONEY..THE DADDY. rooney? he wouldnt even get into the burnley side maybe not but he tried knocking the buggers down enough last night!!- to be fair he plays his heart out, and he has a gift to a degree - but more like a ratting jack russell than an all rounder like a fine lurcher - giggs may have been on my list in the past but then again so would have eric c - there was a beauty in his play i aint seen for a long time - ronaldo is just a cocky b*****d you'd love to see shredded on a sunday league game!! what about 't

what a piss take - compassionate grounds - where was the compassion when he blew the f**king plane up - id have let him rot slowly never mind be with his family - that wasnt an option for the poor b*****ds who died was it on the other hand - is this a back door way of saying the brits have had the wrong man all along which has been mentioned before - give it 6 months - oh look weve found the real bombers?????? whatever the outcome it stinks like piss on a warm day always stuck in my head this event as a young un my uncle had a courier business and he delivered body bags up to l

id love to say its bye bye to bacon face at man'[bANNED TEXT] but if i recall they were a tad shyte last season too early on no one can deny he is/was a good manager but hes just had the players and the money too - look at what coyle has made of a squad that was 70% someone elses - sad thing is if fergie lasts much longer and coyle does well i can see him as his replacement - its been said already and i dont think its out of the question. if i was a reds fan i think id like to see a change at the top - why are you losing top players if you are the best?? atb chris

lol yeah me too watched it last night how surreal having italia style commentary on a dingles game - how very fast show!! - butros butros gali / scorchio!!!! atb chris

Amen to that brother!!!!! - the moaning from down the m65 at ewood has started already!! bring on the toffees on sunday now and the b*****ds in october. Sir Owen Coyle has done us proud once again, pleased for Robbie Blake too getting his prem goal - and who better to score against - some may argue he should have marched for the foul on carrick but rooney wasnt much better near the end either - hes their only hope this season i think now ronaldo has gone - owen looks ready for the knackers yard what a shame capello was in the stands -not - hey maybe we will see a claret in the england shirt a

cheers for replies - i could tryboth - i have an 8foot run under a 4 foot hutch i n the shed- i let em into the run whilst cleaning out and preparing for feeding - they get fed outside of both most days - sometimes they get most of the day in the run part i like to mix it up a bit keep em interested. - feeding mainly dry food (vitalin 40% protein) and tripe at the moment with the odd bit of 'kill here and there (not getting out with the gun anywhere as much as i should be!!)-lets see how it goes!!

righto this is my first season with kits - have an approx 3yo albino jill whos a doddle, and a 13 week old hob and jill - the hob is a big softy most of the time with the odd nip - the biggest worry with him is hes an escape artist trying to make a run at every oppotunity. the youn jill however has a mean side - short, frequent periods of handling shes ok the odd finger nip nothing worse than a pup bite, the longer you hadle her the more excited she gets - playful im sure but can be a pain - 2-3 foot leaps accross the shed onto your shoulders/legs,tshirt etc - tonight she went to far and deci

fur side up or down?

i could see ferrets having their uses as bolters but just thought the smoker was the tool in use these days to work to terriers - it has the advantage of doping them a bit too. had the hob in the house last week as mr ratty was having a scoff behind my fridge - hes only 12 week old bless him but did the job admirably - trouble is im reluctant to let my ferts eat any rats at the moment i live near a skip waste transfer station we seem to be seeing a lot around in daylight outside think theyve poisoned again - lost one of the moggies back in march - eat poisoned rat and haemmoraged internally
-
its not just post quantity but quality too you know!! back on topic - do many people actually rat with ferrets?- interested to know if its still widely practised atb chris

you think so? its more april-may-june here now then pissing down has been last three years now hoped wed have a good summmer with the colder winter this time - last cold winter here was 96 had a good 2 foot ground frost in december - not easy to dig that ! as for proper snowy winters then jan 94 (lost the cars in the snow drifts) or mid 80s before that i miss real seasons - however a decent 'indian' summer would be nice all this wet and warm seems to be good for weeds and flies. on the rabbit side of things - low numbers here last 3 years but this year seems the best in a
