    If you look closely at the picture of the wound on the dog, that isn't a wound caused by barbed wire or a similar cut mate. That's the result of an infection caused by a bite or scratch from something, likely a cat with Bartonella disease. The area is inflammed and the poison is coming to the surface and splitting the skin/fur apart. He ain't saying much because someone's moggy is probably involved ? I've seen the exact same thing and wouldn't of believed it unless I'd seen it in real life.

    That's a bite or scratch from a cat that's got Bartonella disease. It will take a few weeks to heal, will likely leave a scar. You want to keep the wound clean so the bacteria/puss comes out. Will probably get a bit worse but all you can do is keep it clean with a salt solution, keep dog well fed and plenty fluids and let him clean it if he wants too?

    A warm salt solution, soak a face towel and place it over it. Will draw out any bacteria/infection. Keep the dogs fluids up, chicken broth and plenty good quality protein.

    The USA have been making this as complicated as possible. Why?     Exactly, very important to differentiate between what are good forms of radiation and those which are not. We're talking here about radiation in the form of electromagnetic radiation which is heading in the direction of higher frequencies. Generally man generated radiation is where further studies would need to be done to verify their safety. The argument is, that not enough evidence is present yet to make such conclusions or studies done. As there appears to be hesitancy in carry out such studies in the first place is clearly an indication of what the possible conclusion would indicate.

    If you get him to a good bone man first mate if possible...they are the best option as our dogs are athletes or soon to be athletes and they know what most issues with running dogs are because of their experience with greyhounds. I have never in my life came across a vet that correctly diagnosed anything with my running dogs in the past. Really wouldn't risk it. Good luck though whatever you decide ?
