My last van was a diesel and i used a cooking oil/diesel mix and it drove great. In the warmer months i was using up to 70% cooking oil, and in the colder months around 30%. I started by sticking 1 litre in a full tank of diesel, then 2 etc. I didnt have any form of modification- it was just a plain ford fiesta van 1.8 diesel And you get slightly better miles to the gallon on oil than diesel!!!

Its a shame there are people out there like that jules. I run a small pest control company and take each job seriously- wouldnt dream of being sarcastic to a bona - fide customer. Hope she has some luck as rats are not only carriers of disease-they can do some serious damage chewing.

Anyone used the "new" mole smokes?? Apparently they emit non toxic, atmosphere friendly smoke from using castor oil. Im expecting neg feedback on them, but thought i would ask as ive never used them at all. Just wondering how long before the mole "ups sticks and leaves" and is it because of the smoke or is it the coating it leaves on the runs walls. Thanks

There will be loads of other pest controllers in your area in the yellow pages. Cant understand them being sarcastic on the phone ( prob someone working for a big company or council)- if it was a small business they will be glad of your business and will do a fine job too.

Alright lads. Im looking for the full thing really. A template type thing would be good to copy and word myself. I havent anything to compare to work out what i need to write. Like i say, im working just on call-outs at the moment, and though its earning me a half decent wage, contracts are the way forward to establish my company, and im in need of any help with the contract wording and smallprint etc. Thanks a lot.

Im looking for some help on writing out the paperwork for pest control contract paperwork. Im currently working for myself doing call outs and emergency jobs, but to make regular money im needing to get some contracts. Ive had to refuse a couple as i dont know where to start on writing it out so i was wondering if there was someone else in the same position as me could help or someone working for a larger company could send me/ email me some paperwork so i could get an idea. Any help gratefully received. thanks

Snareman and chalkwarren. Thanks very much, youve just about answered my questions. I was just looking at different angles at rats, but i will give it a miss.Ta Matt- i dont know what the crack is with it. I was always sure that "strangulation" was illegal under the wildlife and countryside act. Maybe rats dont count??? The smaller animals dont seem to get the same treatment as the larger,cuter animals.

I wrote an article on falconry for the CMW. Ive been hawking squirrels for years, and wrote the article on my new bird and how i was training it up for squirrel. The next week someone got a letter printed in the dear editors section absolutely slating me for hawking squirrel , saying how dangerous it was. When i wrote back saying it was only dangerous if you dont know what you were doing, and i had caught hundreds without once having even a bite , it wasnt printed and ive never bought it since.

Snareman, What it is , im thinking these will be ideal if they do what they say, for domestics. Kills the rat dead, without the risk of it going off on childrens fingers, and , unlike poison, you know where the dead rat is for showing the customer and it not dying in the attic and stinking. Your saying that the tube is too small?!? and it doesnt kill straight away?!? Ive got loads of rat traps , but was looking for a different angle at attacking the rat.

I usually give it a minimum of around ten kills before i start to take her up before she has finished. Any less she could well think you are robbing her. If she is struggling to keep hold of the rabbit then dont just carry on taking the rabbit-its the worst thing you could do. She would distrust you for ages if you did- dont rush into multiple kills until your both ready or you will have an angry bird that will make you look a prize prat when you go to make in-honest!

Do any of you proffesional pesters use the nooski rat system? Im seriously thinking of ordering a couple in but would like some feedback on them. Any problems?? Anything that i should know? Have you had any problems with the public and having a strangled rat sat outside the trap? Any info at all would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

The core of my discussion is that boxing is fixed. I know that, you know that-the old girl down the road knows that.UFC isnt. MMA is exactly that- mixed martial arts.Be it boxing, wrestling, bjj, etc. It was brought together to see if a boxer could beat a wrestler, if karate trumped judo, muay thai trumped bjj. Think we will need to agree to disagree on this. IMO boxing is fixed. Khan has entered the pro boxing and has fought nothing but potatoes-agree? This is to supposedly enhance his reputation as a top fighter. In MMA / UFC newcomers dont get such pampering. Vanderlay silva came from pride- dana could have gave him a load of nobodys to fight but he didnt he had to fight chuck liddell- an amazing fighter im sure you will agree. I would say your making a mountain out of a molehill!! I have only been on this chatroom twice (second time tonight), but sometimes you go to the toilet, go for a fag or a drink etc , or bath the kids! not texting anything for a few mins isnt that much of a crime really.

The "U" shaped trigger that the mole tries to get through or knock with its back to set it off needs to be bent forward- thus triggering it when the mole is in a more acceptable position.
