Hello and Welcome,i had a friend years ago who had a foxhound greyhound first cross,a power house of a dog,could run all day,the only problem was it would open up every now and again.

THANKS K,YES I AM TOLD SHE IS A TOP DOG FOR HARE,WILL HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK OR SO BEFORE I CAN TAKE HER OUT,STILL ONLY GETTING USED TO ME AND A LITTLE OVER WEIGHT

thanks lads,only got her yesterday and she is only in the door and now she looks like she is starting to break down,[Moorman1]have you still got the 3/4 bred,i have two 3/4 greyhound 1/4 wheaton pups that i bred ,they are only going on 8 weeks old,bred out of a greyhound bitch to a 1/2 bred greyhound wheaton dog.

Hi all,well after my old lurcher died from a spine injury a few months ago,and with the greyhound having her pups i had,nt got time to look a a replacement lurcher,so now i thought it time to go looking and this is what i got,she is two and a half years old,a greyhoung x deerhound put back to a greyhound x wheaton terrier,i have her on two weeks trial,here a few pictures of her. tell us what you think..

I feed mine meat only,chicken and turkey,raw meat in the working winter cooked meat in the summer,a odd time i use meal,only when the meat goes a bit scarce,and they are always in great condition.

usually when i am out for a evening with the rifle,i use sardines,i spread the tin of it around the ground and sit and wait,it never fails,they love it and the smell carrys on the wind so you always get more then one fox.

Yes your right there leegreen,onr is a powder form and one is a liquid ,mix the two together and injected it under the skin at the back of the neck,it has everything that you don,t want your dog to catch.

i use the same as some of the lads on here,i usually do the pups at six weeks for parvo and then their main injections[7 in 1] at ten weeks and last one at twelve weeks of age,

Hi,at 16 months she should be well on her way to taking anything you point her to,could be her upbringing,her training even,i know lads that had half bred and three quarter bred and all have started at twelve months,but maybe she is just a slow starter.

Better safe than sorry,you dont want her to cramp up while she is out tonight,so i would,nt give her anything to eat.
