    i dont keep bullx,s i never liked them,i keep and breed a 3/4 collie greyhound,they wont course a hare for 5 minutes ,maybe a minute at the most but nine times out of ten i will have meat for the pot,they lamp,they are used while i am out ferretting and the bush with the terriers,in other words courser they are a pot fillers,i dont course them on big open ground 5 mile square,i hunt them in small paddocks we have here in Ireland,and they do the job they are meant for,i have bred over the years lurcher to lurchers but i have found a lot have a high percentage of litter wastage,every dog has a s

    nice kennels,your better getting a 12 gauge shotgun with cartridges,take the lead out of the cartridges and replace it with rocksalt,it wont kill your intruder but he wont sit down for a few months.works well on springers that tend to chase livestock.

    a bit of respect for what,a dog thief,are you joking,took a dog on me years ago,took me 3 weeks to find him in his back garden,hunted down my way and my lurchers at that time made a show of his dirt,was taking that night while i was out at work,so you want me to have a bit of respect for that little robbing b*****d,i should of put him out of his misery there and then.

    i have had lurchers and longdogs all my life,my father had them before me,[pot fillers],i have bred a few good one and i have bred shit,but i like to my dogs and like to experment with different breeds of lurchers,i dont sell dogs on if they dont make the grade,if they are of no use they either go to a home as a pet or they are put to sleep,i dont class myself as a dog man but i think i have a good eye in what i want in a running dog and thats whats is all about.

    that doesent happen here in ireland,chances are the farmer tells you to get off his land and dont come back,or he tells you that if you let him know next time your down,he will take his animals in so you can ferret,course,dig and lamp everything that runs,and he give you a few euro,s for your petrol ,

    i heard a member of this site from donaghmeade in dublin bought a dog supposed to be kings old breed from some guy up north,i hear he paid 1,000 euro for it,thats about 5 or 6 years ago,maybe a few irish members could throw some light in this,

    Years ago got caught ferreting off a keeper got a good hiding off him and his mate and when a got back to the motor all the tyres had been done. hope you went back ferretting and slashed his tyres,...you know...pay back the favour. Couldn't agree more. If somebody did that to me I would make sure they were a lot worse than I was i think that day is gone as far as some keeper catching you and kicking the living shit out of you for the oddbit of lamping,but if it ever happened to me i would take the law into my own hands, cause havox around the estate,i would lamp everything,rabb
