Finny.sorry to hear of your loss,will keep a eye out for her,i hunt and know a few travellers around the south of Ireland so i will keep my eyes open,have you any better pictures of her or even a close up of her.

Yes a hare dog for me but i always like a lurcher to have a bit of fire in them so when the opportunity arises he could have no problem in coming to terms with charlie.

thanks lads ,sorry goose the two bitches are mine,the big dog is going to the owner of the stud dog and the other dog is going to the guy who gave me the greyhound bitch,the pups are growing by the day and all they do is feed and sleep,those pictures were taken when they were 4 days old and now they are 10 days old so they have doubled in size.

the first picture,the two middle pups are the two bitches,the other two are the dogs,i will post a few pictures in a week or so to show how big they are getting.

Hello all,well where do i start,my greyhound started to pup last friday week ,and after i finished work at six in the morning i went to check her to find she had started to have her pups,sadly when i got to her two pups had died and during the course of the day she went on to have another ten pups and one of these been still born,,so when she finished pupping on friday evening i decided to leave her in peace,so at this stage she had nine pups to feed,so i left her and have my dinner for a few hours and when i checked her later she had lay on three pups and killed them,so i stayed with her into

No lads i dont think it will happen over here, there is too many people involved in the sport at the moment,i have attended many coursing meets and you would be amazed by the amount of top people that are involved in it,politicians,judges to mention a few.and the amount of money that this sport generates,but if ever it did get baned ,would it stop you,i know myself they would have to kill me to stop me from doing what i enjoy.

hello lads,i had a dog like that years ago,i remember he wasen,t a bad hare dog,but when in among sheep he would go totally mad leave his quarry for these,i bought him in at two years of age and watched him course and was happy with him,i never asked if he was stock broken,but found out the hard way,i tried for months trying to break him to sheep but no avail so i ended up selling him to a lurcher man that was big time into deer coursing with lurchers,i also found that when he would catch sheep he would,nt retrieve live to hand :D

hello all,i have a question for all lads and ladies here in Ireland,do any of you own a Apbt x greyhound first cross,or do you know anybody that has one,the reason i ask is a friend of mine has let me down for a service he promised me to cover my greyhound bitch,now she has just broken down so it gives me a little over a week to find a stud dog for her,i would also be interested in a Wheaton x greyhound or a deerhound x greyhound first cross,s only,any help would be really helpful,thanks again

well lads,at the end of the day the greyhound is the start of lurcher breeding,no matter what line you go for or what type of lurcher you,ve got the greyhound is there.

well i have a greyhound at the moment just for breeding,but i have tried her on the lamp and she caught 9 out of 10 rabbits and brought them back half alive to hand,and while i was out galloping her last week she put up a young fox,coursed and killed it,she also works well with terriers .when out bushing

hi all,this is a long shot,does anybody know a rep with the fell and moorland club that goes by the name of Johnny pluck,i not sure if thats his second name,he is a keen terrier man and keeps a few bull crosses,he also keeps British birds and canaries,he was also a member of a bird forum called the BBIA,and was also in the process of writing a book on lurchers,longdogs and terriers,anybody know him,if so pm me..........thanks
