    are you sure she has no pups left inside her,i had a lurcher bitch that acted like your terrier and went into the garden ,dug a hole and had another pup two days after she had seven pups,and all pups survived.

    years ago i went to lurcher coursing and watched these dogs course hares in the uk,these dogs run for two or three minutes on a hare,they were something else,and all had suluki in their makeup,now where i hunt i could,nt see these dogs coming to terms with a hare for the fields are a little smaller than the land these dogs were running on at the time,while i was in the uk watching these hybrids and longdogs course,i noticed that they run on arable land and as far as the eye could see that had no ditches or drains for a hare to make good their escape,i have bred suluki x greyhounds in the past

    Hi all,i am trying to trace a friend in the UK somewhere,his name is Johnny B####,the last i heard he was a a rep for the Fell and Moorland terrier club,he was a very good lurcher and terrier man,and he kept variety of native birds,i know he was in the process of writing a book on working lurchers and terriers,and on most bird sites he went under the name of KEEPER,.........ANY INFO .....PM ...     well lads if i caught someone stealing my dogs or i knew someone had my dogs i think i would take them shooting with me,i have a problem trying to get people to hold the targets, :hunter:

    Yes Terrier Man you have the right set up there,and there is nothing like having a big dog running your yard,and if someone does try to get in,well you dont have to feed the schnauzer for a week,with me i dont sell pups so i dont have anyone calling and when i do breed then most of the pups go to friends of mine,there is nothing worse than trying to sell pups and some fools come looking at the pups and most would nt know a lurcher if it run into them or the guy that does not want a pup but has a good terrier that wont go to ground but a great worker above ground and he is will to do a straight

    so what i am saying to you lads and ladies when you think your dogs are stolen,maybe you all should all look closer to home,i have heard of travellers taken dogs from the UK and bringing them over to Ireland to sell them here,

    Foxtrot,i think you are right in your theory,most people that steal dogs weather they be lurchers or terriers know who their victim is,and when they steal of you they either had a buyer for them or they intend to breed of them,i had a friend years ago who had a lurcher that was stolen on him,he looked everywhere but nothing,put up flyers,adds in the papers but nothing,then about a year later just by chance we came across it at a game fair,and while i was talking to the chap that had bought it we found out to our surprise who was the seller was,and who was it only someone we trusted and hunted

    Nice looking dog Wood1,i was hoping to get one myself but the guy that was selling it decided he was going to keep it,anyway i am still on the look out for one now,What is he like with other dogs and terriers.

    i keep bullfinches,goldfinches,greenfinches and canaries,do a bit of muling and a odd hybrid so after that its the .22,the over and under and then its the semi,o and i nearly forgot,the wife and three kids

    i have snared rabbits years ago in the borrow and on their hops,the both ways work,i think i had more success with snaring on the hops.

    Well lads i have a cure for fleas on dogs, firstly you get epsom salts,put three spoonfuls into a cup and add some water till it turns into a paste, now you rub it into the dogs coat and when the fleas get of the dog to have a shite.HIDE THE DOG
