  1. Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays during this time of year.
  2. Had a chance to post on a 600 mile trip. The screw was used to portray a women on the TV series The Crow. Got to go.....
  3. I think it's 8% here on sales tax that's based on what state you live in but then your right federal taxes too. I don't smoke weed so I don't know? It's illegal on federal part but not some states. What's is the exchange rate.... I don't know what the names money mean either like pound.? Hey have you guys heard of the Nextflic tv series The Crown? I wonder how accurate it is when it comes to history. I started laughing real hard when they mention the word shrew..... What the hec is a shrew? Anyway got to go but will check back later probably when you guys are sleeping lol.
  4. That's nice.......Over here the people own the wildlife but each state has the right to manage the wildlife within there state. All states have a limeted amount of resources/wildlife in there states so they have to manage there wildlife according to there available habitats. Surplus animals are therefore put up for the draw.....supply versus demand are high in most states. Your right it is a draw/lottery! Here in Utah where I live you get to pick 5 units (general) if you don't get your first choice you get a point to increase your chances next year and points add up until you draw your firs
  5. FedEx.... its ridiculous.... there high over here. I thinks it's high no matter where you are. Normally they'll ask you what delivery service you prefer some are cheaper.
  6. Gas prices are at around $2.40 for 87 octane here. A loaf of bread is $1.50. Oil and lube is $35.00. A gallon of milk is $2.50. Rent a house for 2 bedrooms is around, here in southern Utah $800.00 a month. Deer tag for 1 deer resident and that is if you get a tag $40.00 plus you need a hunting license that's good for 360 days $35.00 you can't put in for the draw unless you have a current hunting license. This is for the US...so, how much difference is there between the two countries? Oh $35.00 for a fishing license is good for a year as well.
  7. I thought you were talking about rifle barrels to make the steal more resilient lol.I feal sorry for her bummer.
  8. It sounds like you might have a problem with bacteria or over handling those areas? Theres a product here in the USA its called Stop Rot that can help with the bacteria part.
  9. Oh man she's so good she loves to hunt. She has harvested a 4x4 mule deer buck at 762 yards, that's right!.. One shot right through the neck. Dropped it like a rock. Of course I had to pack it out. She just like one of the guys and cooks real good too. It's gotten so bad while hunting with my brothers they always ask me if shes gotten her deer yet so they can have her be the camp chef. They care less about me & they love her especially her cooking lol!
  10. I wish we had the advantage of a lots of deer and less hunters not happening here unless you get lucky with a limited entry deer tag. Where we hunt the terrain is wide open and very steep and there's lots of hunters hence the long range rig I hunt with. The buck I harvested this year I was able to get within 70 yards the day before but I decided they weren't big enough to fill my deer tag. So I back out and informed my wife and she decided she wanted to go after the bucks. The next day we left our base camp and headed up the trail. Our base camp was around 7000 ft and the bucks were around 100
  11. Well hello from from someone who just joined not to long ago.
  12. I notice there's a life chat room on here to how does that work?
  13. Wow that's a big difference (time) that means ill have to time myself right to post when you guys normally do. The way we measure throphys as far as mule deer goes is with a tape measure of course . We measure from the widest outside spread square. So 25 inches is the widest outside spread of my buck and we count points that are over 1 inches long but here on the western side of the US we only count one side with the most points. We don't count eye guards they call this western count 25 inches is a good buck by today standards. The holy grail is 30 inches wide my widest spread is 29 1/2 wide.
  14. So I used the wrong name its sussex.... sorry? Right now its 9.22 AM here I wonder what time it is there? I guess I could Google it. Wyoming is my favorite state to hunt our family has been hunting there for over 20 years. This year I was able to harvest a 25 inch 4x4 at 572 yards. In the past we've been able to harvest some pretty good mule deer bucks there (WY). I do taxidermy as a hobby here and go to taxidermy shows to compete. I'm in the master category after winning Best Of Show in Arizona in the professional division. The deer you have there reminds me of our Couse deer we have in Arizo
  15. There was a article of a lady who did taxidermy by coating something all over the body. Then the body would rot from within leaving the outer hair and skin attach. It look outstanding when she was finish have you ever heared of this?
  16. Well Extreme Hunter the weather here is 72 degrees. How do you get a conversation going??? I think the time zone is about 5 hrs difference between us?
  17. So that's what the deer look like over there hm.
  18. When I was younger we use to replace the old landcruisers motor for a Chevy V8 then switch out the steering box for a Chevy steering box. Gas milage still suck at 14 mpg. Then we added a lift kit for bigger tires. I will say the Landcruiser was by far the best climbing 4x4 at that time.
  19. Hey thanks a lot...how do you post pics or for that matter how can I add a pic for my profile?
