I have done a few bears and elk mostly deer. I was able to harvest a turkey last year and I’m going to try to do one when I get the chance. I’m not good on birds and I don’t do fish. I do my own tanning it mostly a hobby but I love to do it when I get the chance.

Here’s a side pick of a mule deer I finished awhile back wife buck.

I use an Airbrush and water base paint around the eyes and inside, outside nose. Plus interior of the ears. As the mount dries it loses color around those places.

I learned taxidermy from my brother in my 20 but he just knew the basics. Later on I met an older taxidermist who help me more. I competed in state shows, and with that critique I improved my talent. This an Antelope that my wife got in Wyoming but I haven’t finished painting it.

This buck was harvested by my wife in 2013 and she wanted a shoulder mount. It was the biggest buck she had an opportunity to take so far. Then one day while it was in the beginning taxidermy stages, my son was walking through the garage and knocked over the stand! Unfortunately, it broke the antlers off. It stayed there broken on the stand for a long time. Then, out of the blue I just decided to start ripping it apart to start over. This is what I’ve been able to do so far… I haven’t had a chance to finished painting it yet but it is still a work in progress. I did this last month in 2024. So

It was a moneymaker what a joke. Tyson look like he had dementia. In the women’s fight, they should’ve stopped it that lady had way too big of a cut over her eye that was ridiculous.

I love to hunt over here it’s hard to get a tag now that our deer herds are way down due to the drought that we’ve been experiencing lately. We also have CWD disease that been killing our deer and it’s slowly spreading. There’s been no evidence that humans can get it yet. How’s it over there?

Tyson has a vulnerability there with his stomach. If Jake concentrates on that area, he might have an opportunity, but I still want Tyson to win.

Who knows? They had some fake thing on Google that said Tyson lost by knockout in the 6 round. If they wanted to make more money it would be a draw just my thoughts. I do think Tyson will win if his ego takes over.

I live in Utah and our deer herds population is way down. The last I read the harvest was 22% for 2023. We have these RAC meetings across our state to address these concerns and they ask for public input about changes. They don’t listen to us they just do what they want to and it drive some of us . Do you have the same issue over there?
