  1. That's where I lack knowledge I'm sorry. I haven't been able to figure that out yet but there are other ways. They have a Web page called Fierce Firearms it's here in Utah US. There's also Youtube. My setup is the Fury model with a VX6 Leupold scope 3x18 with a CDS dial. Right now I'm shooting 185 grains Berger hunting bullets. I've chronograph the load at 3280. You cold send me your cell number and I cold send you a pic text. No big deal if you don't want to give out your number I totally understand.
  2. We go back to visit man..... has it change for the worse. The crime is going through the roof. More people have move in and the funny thing is they moved there to get away from what they didn't like where they came from. So they brought with the same thing they left. I'm not a hypocrite I left that area because out of need and want and went to a area ar first was worse than what I left. We move again to here where we fit in with the locals. I have to say I love it here and slap myself when I think of trying to change it.
  3. There some products on the market that are designed to not let that happen. But for the life of me I can't remember there names. Mothballs might work cedar chess. I've hear people spraying a pesticide like Raid on the Item and then placing in a plastic bag?
  4. Minox was a unknown quality and a very good brand but I think they were bought out awhile back. I believe there cost has risen too. I think Vortex the HD model are the poormans binoculars now. If it was me I'd stay with at least 12 power range.
  5. It's hard when the culture changes from how your use to living.

    Rhetoric

We just had our election over here its kinda of a joke. There wasn't much I like about my political side. I didn't really want to vote but I did because where I live our state Utah came into play so I did vote. But now that the election is over its kinda of funny ok...... its real funny to see how some people handle there loss most of it is in name calling. Heres some of the rhetoric ...... Not my fight I don't care what they do. There is nothing illegal about protesting. if they bring guns and threaten to kill anyone who comes near them then take them out. if they try to run roadblocks then
  7. There a little high for me but....... I took the plunge lol. I like the fact there build on a sako action they wont admit it but its Sako all the way. The thing about them is there stock it has a wide forearm up front ( good for putting on a rest)and a swell around the pistol grip that fits the hand real nice. It comes with a nice cheek piece. BUT the number one reason is it comes in the 300 RUM you cant get that in a Sako rifle as far as I know with a removable muzzle brake.
  8. I don't know how some people can just up and leave on a whem? My son can do that he'll just up and leave go 800 miles to a new area I don't get it? We'll I'll have to say I did it once when I was 50 but it was real hard leaving family roots. More power to you if you can do it.
  9. I hear you but I've haven't had the chance to visit your side of the pond more like a ocean lol. I've been to Canada Vancouver twice to much city for me but nice to visit if that's what its lIke over there?. The thing with me I love to hunt kinda gets in the way if you want to save for things just ask my wife. It does suck if you work your whole life trying to put away something for the future. I like your analogy pinewood boxs lol.
  10. Where I live most homes are build on .25 of a acre. Usually homes go by the square foot oh location makes a big difference too. It's around $100.00 to $120.00 a square foot for homes below 3,000 square foot that includes the .25 acre of land. It's funny if your house is bigger over 3,000 square foot the price drops per square foot. Our house is 4,150 square foot and the going price is around $70.00 a square foot. Now if you just want land it's all about location here lots are going between $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 for .25 acre. If you drive up the mountain you can get 5 acres for $35,000.00
  11. Look up Fierce Firearms I bought one this year in there Fury model. To my knowledge there build on a Sako action with a removable muzzle brake. Mine was a 300 RUM with a 26 inch barrel 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards.

    Tutorial?

Do you guys do tutorials on this web page? Like how to do things. I did one over here on another hunting page on how to make a fake rock for Taxidermy. I've seen others on reloading/shooting like the Erickson ladder test. There's some on if your shooting long range like 1000 yards. How your bullet drift due to the rotation of the earth.

    Drinks

Wow you guys get into your teas. I guess you could say the same thing about coffee. I use to love to drink that stuff two pots was nothing. I was kinda hyper in my younger days and if we got behind do to the overflow of customers my boss would say give that man a Coke. I'd get us caught up ya baby.

    Drinks

There are tea drinkers over here but coffee seams to be the norm. I think most days people drink some kinda Soda during the summer months then switch to there hot brew. Then you got your casual drinkers after work or social drinkers.I use to fall into all catalogs but not no more. I made a choice to stick to soda or high energy drinks getting to old want preserve myself. So what's your cup of tea??
  16. There seams to be a problem with there brake lights melting the lense housing do to over heating. I had this problem with mine and the dealer replace both of mine even though mine was out of warranty.I was told not to lock down the brake handle while it's running for any extended lenght of time. By doing so the brake lights would still be on thus the problem with them getting to hot. Just a heads up. Oh there are some after market bulbs out there that are LEDS but I don't know who's selling them or there number. I believe there bulb is a 1157?
  17. A friend of mine just ask me if there's any hunting over there in Irland around July he might be going over there. So I'm asking is there?
  18. At least he supports the NRA......
  19. I was trying to be sensitive so I didn't mention thanksgiving and I didn't know what holidays you might be having over there lol
  20. No... I'm not a therapist.. lol. That's funny I used to play music in a country band called The Stillwater Savage band you can see it on YouTube. We were just a gerrage band but we had the opportunity to open for Waylon Jennings who use to narrator on the Dukes Of Hazard tv show and play the theme song Just The Good Days that kinda has to do with south I guess.
  21. So far so good keep it coming. Any names on here that need a therapist lol.
  22. Ok it looks like there's not much going on here so.. (it could be the time differences ).. over here (US) on another hunting forum someone had the great idea to start a post on how you got your user name. At the time I didn't think much of it but after a few post it got quite interesting. My user name quest was decided on because for the life of me I cant harvest a true 30 inch mule deer buck. I've seen them well over 30 inches shot at them but the closes I can get to date is 29 1/2 inches so its a quest for me. Please share your story of why you pick your name
  23. Coyotes are open year round and you just need a license to hunt them. In Utah there's a bounty on coyotes (Updated: February 8, 2016, 12:13 pm. Utah's Predator Control Program. The DWR predator-control program provides incentives for hunters to remove coyotes. Participants receive $50 for each properly documented coyote that they kill in Utah.Feb 8, 2016). We don't have pigs here in Utah but some state do so I don't really know? For deer yes there is stipulation on size and it goes by antler size. Most states have at least one antler restriction four inches long or better to be legal to har
