I had the same problem last night, John Galway and one or two others soon put me right, all you have to do is click on 'options' (top right of the page) and select standard view, job done.

Here in my bit of Lincolnshire we had about 4" but it's all gone now and it's like a summers day.

That's one hell of a shot mate, well done I generally use the airgun or shotgun on pigeons, my quarry with the rimfire is rabbits and crows.

Get stuck in mate, it's great fun and you're doing a valuable service too. I shoot rats by day and night, small lamp with red filter. Best advice for ratting is patience. Nice shooting Woodchip

I can't help you with your quest but I do agree with you. On my rimfire I have a Simmons 3-9 x 50 and I’ve yet to use anything higher than 3x, I just can’t hold the gun steady enough for any higher magnification, I’m shooting at distances of up to 100yds and rarely miss.

Thanks John, my computer is creaking and groaning, well past it's sell by date, but I just can't face up to all the problems of getting a new one.

He's already started sending me PM's about the police & Telling tales to IanB about me. But are they true No, He threatened to cut my thought, so I stupidly replied that I knew someone who was good on computers, and I was going to ask him to track him down. I hold my hands up, it was stupid, & I should have walked away the moment he started making comments about me being welsh, and saying my mother was a retarded f*ck, etc. I got a couple of PM's when he was called Malvernjones, nice chap.

Hi mate, i used to suffer same problem many years ago, unfortunately for some reason i connot close my right when shooting, and this made things really frustrating for me because i was missing a hell of lot of shots.I tried a few ideas such as tape on glasses,and even an eye patch but couldnt get on with any of them so kicked them into touch..i am naturally right handed but my master eye is the left, so in the end i switched sides and now shoot all guns left handed this took quite a while to get used to but now it is natural to me. so i would say if you are hitting your targets by closing one

Surely you can see why this programme was important? It showed just how differently people are treated depending on their personal circumstances. How sad is it when a child is missing, may be dead and the media is only interested in throwing dirt at the parents, who are already probably going through hell. I think it's sad that someone's income, area, home or personal situation can determine how they will be treated and how "newsworthy" their child is judged to be. An "open ticket" does not mean you (or he) can shoot just anywhere, the wording on the license will say something to the effect of " may shoot such and such callible at such and such quarry on any lande deemed suitable by the chief firearms officer in that force area...... ....Needless to say permission is also needed. ATB SA ...you are a little confused there, an OPEN FAC does give you the authority to shoot anywhere you consider appropriate, as long as you have permission!
