  1. This is a tough one John, I've given it a lot of thought but I just can't put myself in the shoes of someone who doesn't agree with shooting foxes at this time of year. My true feelings are that anyone who would refuse to shoot a fox after being asked to by the land owner should really pass the permission over to someone who would deal with the situation. I’m not a person who leaps with joy every time I deal with a fox, I just see it as a job done
  2. Sundays for me are usually manic but today I raised two fingers to it, got the bike out and went to Cadwell Park with my son in law.

  7. Bi-pods and springers don't really mix that well, and you'll have problems fitting one to your 45 cos it's break barrel. I've got one and I use it a lot, just a cheap 3-9 x 40 scope on top and it's a very nice gun to shoot. Edit I might be talking twaddle cos I've just realised my gun is a Model 35 not a 45 doh!
  8. Oh I see, well I'm sorry if I got it wrong. I have tried traps before with a past rat problem and they never worked for me so I gave up on them. And what I think Ditch is getting at is he's seen right through this one.
  9. Shoping list Pair of tiny spot lamps and some red lens repair tape from a car shop. Go halves with a mate. A yard or so of nice flexible twin core (mine if off a house table lamp and it has a switch in it) A cheap scope mount. A Panasonic LC-R123R4PG or similar. Got mine of fleabay, a pair for £14 delivered. Work list Cut the dovetail off the scope mount and drill and tap the large side for a suitable small bolt, mount the car spot lamp and fit the lot to your scope, add two layers of red lense tape to the spot lamp. Attach the wire and switch to your gun so the switch falls w

  16. This is something I would love to do and I've looked into it once or twice, the initial cost of the equipment is'nt too bad but the cost of materials is a bone of contention for me, even though the cost of factory made shells seem to rise by the day they are still cheaper than re-loads.
