Trousers are good for ferreting as they offer some degree of waterproofing around the kneees (and arse). Jackets are good for wet/showery days, although most of the velcro patches (for sticking on litmus paper patches for chemical detection) are better removed. Had no probs with the charcaol lining in 6 months use. Good gear for the money though. Cheers, D.
As an afterthought, he had really smelly feet and we once made him walk home from a job rather than get in the van with us! He was a good lad though despite the feet!
Bloody Hell! You've really hooked me now mate! The boy who played the lead used to work for me and was filmed around Accrington in Lancashire, not Yorkshire. He's called Linton (or Linden) Deardon. Cheers for bringing that back to me. Cheers, D.
Used to enjoy night time hunting most. Probably the excitement of mostly poaching back then. Night time hunting can be more productive in many cases but you miss seeing so much besides the quarry. Daytime hunting now is more of an enjoyment for me although I love going out any time! Cheers, D.
Be careful with regards to pups jumping! Their bones aren't fully formed till about 15 months (dependant on the breed).
My 7 month old fecker scared the shit out of me by clearing a 7 foot round bar cattle grid a while back, from a standing jump! Cheers, D.
The Yukon MVT NV2 WP comes with a list of available add ons, including video, camera, scope and helment fittings.
It's a basic spotter though, if you want scope quality NV, spend loads more. Cheers, D.
Shouldn't bath dogs at all mate, loses the essential shit in their coats.
As far as casting coats goes, my puppy sheds shitloads of hair each day, whilst his parents, fed etc exactly the same, don't. Cheers, D.
