  1. Had planned on getting a fairly decent bag last night but my dog split a pad on Tuesday night so I was left with only the pup to run. I had Silvertip from this site with me and he did the carrying very well LOL. Cheers Sam. On this place there is PLENTY of game and we saw lots of stuff that we couldn't run :cray: We were taking it fairly easy with Brenn as she is not quite a year old yet so trying to pick runs for her and giving her frequent rest stops to get her tongue back in We'd had a few rabs and she was retrieving one when another jumped up in front of her. Now I've seen
  2. Really! Well I never  Cheers, D.
  3. "Hello Mr. Farmer. I see you've got plenty of rabbits on. Do you want to keep them all?" OR " Do you have anyone doing your rabbit control, if not, I'd be happy to help, for FREE" Farmers love that word LOL. Obviously stating that you have 100% respect for livestock, neighbours, fences etc etc etc. Also you'll keep an eye out for any undesirables. Shit I've said too much already, took me nigh on 35 years to get my patter right but it works as I've got more permission in the last 5 or 6 years than I've ever had in my life! Cheers, D.

  7. I used to do a bit of Mountain bike racing, both short course and 90km off roaders. If you get a decent quality saddle and make sure the bike is set up correctly (many casual cyclists set their seat too low for maximum efficiency) you will find that your arse muscles will adapt to the saddle and you'll be fine. When sat on the saddle you should be just able to touch the ground with your tip toes on both sides at once. If your feet can stand flat on the floor when your seated, the saddle is too low and the muscles you need to use will be straining at the wrong points. This doesn't

  13. Would that be around Grafham Water Penny? Stayed near there (Southoe) about 30 years ago. Cheers, D.
  14. Asd above, what Skycat says is true but it's down to basic reacall training. If you can do that, you're most of the way there. I train mine to come straight back when the lamp goes off, which works most of the time LOL Cheers, D.
  15. Made mine for about 25 quid. If it's gonna be in an outside kennel I'd make the sides higher but if inside, a foot or so high around the sides except for the front is ample. Try and make the box at least a foot longer than the dog with enough width for her to stretch out. HTH. Cheers, D.
  16. Last night, she had 4 out of the 5 pictured. (sorry to hijack your thread a bit Trig LOL) Cheers, D.
  17. Started my pup at 6 and 1/2 months. Nice handy rabs. Been out about 20 times, just for an hour or so since then. She's 12 months in just over a week and has now had 51. Out tonight hopefully for a few more. Well done mate, always keep plenty in the tank at that age though Cheers, D.
