  1. Few recent photo's of Jet. Before and After photo's of his tail, which has now healed up grand. It was the biggest ballache i have ever encountered with a dog before and wouldn't wish it on anyone! Photo's in the kitchen are from last night, Weighing in about 14KG and 17/18 TTS now and he will be 4 months old on Monday i got his age slightly wrong in the last post.
  2. How much better is it than the TF T18 off the website? I bought one of those and wasnt that impressed for 4000 lumen!
  3. How much better is it than the UF T18? At 4000 Lumen i wasn't very impressed with it, which leaves me looking for something that will go the distance and about £50 quid down.
  4. Any recent photos of these now they're grown wezza? JB

  12. Jet my pup for next season, 4 months old - Pocket Rocket x Collie Bull Grey - 16 TTS and about 13kg. Brought up around stock from day 1. Raw fed. Growing like a weed ! Looking forward to see him go this time next year !
  13. Good on ya mate, got a bit of a soft spot for that plummer got to say it! Keen to get out with her soon, although it may result in me buying a bellman for my bitch in the near future haha !!
  14. I just had one off ebay, cracking bit of kit. I use it for stock breaking and re call very rarely need the shock. Once they know the beep from the collar thats usually enough after a couple of whacks. Vibrate function on them works well too!
  15. It's spot on mate, half mile walk up a lane next to my house and i'm in bushing paradise for miles holding a bit of everything!
  16. Few recent photos of my young busher, never a dull moment with this dog she's 110% all the time after spending the first mile rolling in every available badger shi* she managed to find herself a decent bit of scent and managed to run a couple of rabbits amazing seeing her switch from arsing about when no scent about to nose down full chat hunting scent! 7 months old now and really starting to use her nose well, first season for her coming up so fingers crossed its a goodun !
  17. Abolsolute belter that..I've got a similar mix i'll be bringing on for this time next year, i look forward to following his progress!
  18. Genuine question, how do people manage running dogs abroad where the ground is almost always hard?
  19. Quick Jet update, After a pretty crap start to the little mutts life, he seems to be turning a corner after having his tail tip chopped off which is now looking pretty positive and looks to be healing up nicely ! Here's a few photos of him after a couple of weeks on some decent grub and exercise ! Scars on his face are from litter mate fighting before we picked him up! which have turned from open sores to now all healed and coat starting to grow through nicely. He's 3 and half months old now weighing 9kg and roughly 15" TTS.
  20. Ah that gives me a bit of confidence! What did you do to heal it or did you just leave it be?
  21. Those were the answers i was hoping to hear Cheers boys. Will keep on as i am with it!
  22. Has anyone had any experience with a tail tip injury in their dogs? My old man did a cracking job of catching my pups tail in the kitchen door while feeding him when i was at work. He lost roughly half an inch in the door, then another inch at the vets! Seems to be healing ok but its a right ballache and not confident on it healing completely after hearing no end of horror stories, hes 7 days in and no infection as yet i'm saltwater cleaning and purple spraying the stitched stump at the moment! Worse case scenario, has anyone had any experience with a docked runner if i end up having to
  23. Cheers for all the replies lads, i'll keep on throwing it at her. Socks - I Buy in working dog raw when i'm feeling flush which is a complete raw pup food! I also mince my own stuff too, duck carcasses with chicken meat with lamb hearts and some sweet potato and spinach. She gets duck & turkey necks. being honest i don't feed alot of beef so that might be an option to start now when shes out and about this season. cheers for the help !
  24. After a bit of advice...At what age would you start to cut a pups meal sizes down? My pup is roughly 6 and half months now and seems to have done the majority of her growing now, up until now i've been throwing the grub at her feeding her as much as she wants. She's been on raw since the day i picked her up and was thinking of cutting her meals now and start to lean her out a bit, any pros and cons of doing it at this age? Any advice is appreciated !
