Haha bold as brass. When i had a look round where he disappeared there was a few odd bones and stuff knocking about sat on the grass above ground, probably sat there chewing on one of the lambs from that same bloody field.

tb25 - Managed to get out last night for a quick half hour just before the light faded and went to a spot i remember seeing rabbits as a kid, just as i walked over the brow i saw one but as it would go, the dog didn't ! But not to worry i thought i'd walk down to where i saw it go and fair play she seemed keen on something sniffing around like a goodun, Next thing i know she was off into the cover for a look. Good thinking. surely is, Hereford isn't far from me and a fair bit goes on around there! She isn't that steady at the moment, having a right ball ache stock breaking her at the moment. It'll come!

She isn't that big Dave, about 8kg now around 15tts. I reckon she'll finish up about 18tts at a guess! Sire was a big cocker and dam was a big patt so shes got a bit of growing to do yet to catch them up!

Hi All, Is there anybody about bushing in around mid wales / powys area. I'm in Llandrindod got a 5 month old cocker/patt bitch who's growing soundly and i'd like to get her going slowly now and having no experience myself doesn't make the job easy. Here she is . Any help would be appreciated. ATB Joe B

How much a day would you lads let a pup (5 months old) on these? Mine is mad for it, got a lunge whip with a bit of white carrier bag on the end, it rustles through the grass when it moves and she goes bonkers for it. have to hide in the house from her otherwise shes jumping up at it and yapping wanting it! only got her on it 5/10 minutes a day plus her walks at the moment.

Just weighed her up she's 7kg and 5 months next week so got a fair bit of growing left in her yet! Feeding raw 3 times a day and she can't get enough of it. I buy it pre made, feeding working dog raw which has a bit of extra fat chucked in and it's working well for her she has duck necks and lamb spines for extra too. Looking forward to bringing her on.she's the first dog I will have "worked" so big learning curve for me hoping to then add a running dog to the mix once I'm happy with her.

Mine seems the same, everything I've done with her she's got back had 10 minutes sleep and ready to go again then! Did a 7 mile run with her the other night and it was like she hadn't even been.. Heard people say don't do too much too early on but she seems keen for it all the time!

What sort of size are your X's coming out at? My bitch is about 12/13" tts now at just under 5 months! Whats your thoughts on exercising too young..if they want it let them rip or keep it steady? She's constant energy, she started coming with me on the push bike on short rides a bit now and runs on a bit but not far away. 1st photo back end last week finishing off our week long welsh summer! 2nd photo she took off on a scent ahead of me across a field to an old bridleway but didn't enter just stood at the top and had a good sniff around, Since i've bollocked her for going to ground she hasn't
