I can’t lay claim to the pie, as the origin of it is one of my favourite boozers depending on what part of the world I,m in, but for anyone in Gloucestershire it’s worth the pilgrimage, the landlady does them individually one pie full meal I was just being lazy, and yes there is loads of cheese in it, cheese like bacon enhance the taste of pretty much everything ??

I have an orange mountain bike bought from a fat bloke for £150 after he paid £700 for it before realising that simply owning a nice bike does nothing to help you loose wait, there are thousands of nice bikes in fat blokes sheds around the country just waiting for a new owner, beware of the same house on your local council estate selling an expensive mountain bike every week in the free ads or flea bay it’s normally photographed in the same spot so easy to tell but they are probably stolen and the last thing you need is a 16 stone rugby player trying to wrestle your new pride and joy off you

Treat yourself, buy a good knife and it should last you a lifetime that’s why I keep mine on a length of paracord you can’t drop it, can’t be disarmed and can’t throw it, mine actually cost more years ago than I could buy it new today, for anyone wanting a really decent pocket knife they are pretty good cost around £40 ??

Not legal in the over all scheme of things but every pair of trousers I put on this goes on a belt loop, I actually wander how a man can get through life without a knife in his pocket , it comes out most days just in my every day life, from gutting or dressing out the odd critter to opening a bag of plaster or cutting bands on pallets, I was approached last year by a young man in a track suit with a rather tiny hammer who thought his bmw had more rights to go down a narrow street than my van, it was also very useful in convincing him that he had made a mistake and would be far better off rever

There are definitely triggers for certain dogs from the owners, my misses is a nervy type and you can see the dogs are always on guard around her but there is still no reason when you meet a total stranger and without a word being spoken your normally quiet loyal companion is backing away with its lip curled back, as the old saying goes, the more I get to no people the more I like my dogs

I do have a few of those ones as well mate as you say a good camera, but yes the apeman is more in the browning, stealthcam catagory of camera at the Chinese end of the price range, and the 3minute video could be more useful for you over a baited spot, my problem round here is avoiding badgers as there are so many, a crossing point on a stream is always a good funnel point, I had a cam on a plank over a ditch a couple of years ago, it was like a black and white convoy from dark to dusk, anyway good luck ??
-
If your after a trail cam, the apeman is a good one at the moment mate retailing at over £100 a year ago now £46 on Amazon , they have a much larger video file than any others I have and will take 3mins of video as opposed to the 20/30 seconds you get on most other cameras, though I tend to set them slower as I,m after passing trade but if you can get the badgers feeding a 3min film would be nice

Another little thing I noticed last year during the really hot weather they seemed reluctant to go below ground in some places don’t no if it’s down to infestations of parasites or just to hot but the deer and badger pic was middle of day in all the heat and I also bumped into one out at 10 am in the middle of a field asleep under some dead grass, Johnny kingdom used to have a badger assault course on his land and they were encouraged to use it with trails of peanuts though again he is in the south were we seem to have a lot more than were zandy is, can’t wait to see your pics mate have no dou

I walk alone, and do what I do, i,m polite to people I meet but won’t hesitate to f**k them off if they are rude, I wave and chat to every farm worker and horse rider I meet, they all just accept me and think I must be one of them as everyone seems to no me but in truth they all no sweet fa about me I,m just the harmless old boy that wanders round and does not hurt anyone, I learned many years ago to row my own boat and stay out the spotlight, it’s the non stop search for other people’s approval and likes on social media that draws all the unwanted attention, in reality the lad that got jail t

I,ve checked setts daily years back in all weathers and during periods of real cold they can stay below ground for a few weeks without coming out, Zandi is also a lot further north than me and I think they are a bit thinner on the ground, people round me just put peanuts in the garden and film them through the patio doors ??

I hope so mate, I,m hoping he will pop up soon and give us the ? maybe his hands are to gummed up with ground bait to type or he has no signal since he relocated to a deep dark Devon valley so he could pre bait more often, it is just his last few posts that got my cogs working, hope he,s on his hols with a knotted hanky on his head and a Guinness

Some of the people I no have got audio of cats calling from the woods at night, but as everything gets torn to peices a sound could have been recorded anywhere, earlier this year I went to an old quarry on a Sunday when it was closed, that has had years of sightings around it and I played a call used by hunters to call in cats in the states, and I did definitely have something moving in the undergrowth near me it was in daylight and the magpies were going mental following whatever it was I could here it but it seemed to be moving round just out of site in cover it was a real spine tingling goo

I hope I,m getting this wrong but if memory serves Walt was a regular contributor and a proper decent bloke, but his last posts were about a lump he had found, and since then he seems to have faded away a bit, I have tried pm but to no avail and I no a few on here do no him in the real world, so question is were is Walt and is he ok ?

Mac is right everything is conjecture, but in the overall big picture of cats around the world the same pattern emerges the lower the population the bigger the territory,s, males and females have separate territory’s and a males will be much bigger and cover several females, as I have said some of our group work on projects abroad and a lot of research has been done in the states on captured and collared puma, the patterns always show up the same, food water shelter and sex, are the basic requirements were ever in the world they are, this is possibly the most famous puma, lives in Hollywood am
