I know of an area on the river Severn that is being kept quiet that is producing catfish with some regularity, we also have reasonable populations of raccoons and wallaby’s in England, and as leopards have lived unnoticed for years in places like Mumbai and Johannesburg both very busy places it’s not hard to see how they can hide from us

Quite possibly they do, but in this country it’s really rare to find a good set of scratch marks like those in the photo so probably not enough to have found any discarded claw material in them as yet, I personally have never found any claw marks like that and have only seen a handful of photos ??

I aim but draw back past my head, I cut my loops at 18” a side then have a 6” loop so have about a foot overall, the weather is pretty shite but don’t find the squirrels are to worried about it saw 5 out the other morning and it was pissing it down ?

No but I have a few of these, don’t get used much to be honest as they just ain’t discreet which really is the essence of the catty, no one knows your carrying one and you can get a sneaky shot off pretty much anywhere

Good thing about wolves is they will return a call, if you go out at night and give a few howls they will respond if they are near you ?also have the biggest claws of all canids as they never walk on hard surfaces so quite easy to spot ??

Nothing will be mentioned mate, mass hysteria is what we are being protected from, the 15 lynx is quite well known in the secret world of cats, There were more released but the 15 were what was never accounted for, i,ll get some more info for you when I next speak with the chap that keeps all the records, ??

I don’t no why I even bother with pricks like you but one more try if you watched the program you would notice many of them had tracking collars on them same as pumas in the us and other such rarity,s once you have a few years of tracking data it’s very easy to predict were they will be at what times of year were as I have to do it all by my lonesome whilst trying to earn a living, fund everything myself and deal with a never ending stream of bellends ???

Was wondering the same thing, not really a fan of them especially when out and about as it stops the dog from defending itself or catching some lunch if you should loose it ???

I wouldn’t even try counting the number of shots mate but lasts much longer than any flat bands I,ve used, this set on my little buffalo horn must be 6momths in just started showing signs they are about to break, I did see the vid your on about and thought there were a few things I disagreed with like putting a wrap over a collar I,ve never done it and never had one slip and the longevity of the bands is great ??

I don’t buy from dangkung but just get natural latex tube from China with an internal diameter of 1.7 mm and external of 4.5 which gives the same numbers ?? It does seem to work well in the winter and comes in around a £5 for 10 meters, I like a tapered loop set up as you can shorten or extend the loop to suit different ammo have just put some on one of my scout copy,s for a try ??

The government have rejected the release but the animals have been here for a while from what I can gather, the big guy with the beard who seems to be in charge of the project has a habit of pissing people off i,m told and is pretty uncompromising in his plans that has led to the project being put on hold, I am not worried about re releasing them as they are already here and do alright but I was interested to see if the captive tracked animals met up with a wild mate would they hush it up or admit the truth ???

I no they did but the 5 lynx have been being held there for years, there was also a mass release of lynx by anti,s not to many years back that was kept quiet, from what I no of that one there were 15 lynx left unaccounted for after all the fuss had died down and others had been recaptured or hit by cars ??

All I was told it was taken in Scotland I have a 20 second video but no more info, often wandered weather it was one of the ones being held for release in the Kildare forest, ????

A lot of it was sold as scrap through a shop near me, owned by my mates aunty ,was smelted down by John Palmer in his garden when he lived in bath, or so the story goes ?
