Here’s a funny little story while on the subject of losing your fac ticket, some years back a lad I no( not the sharpest tool in the box) got into a bit of a neighbourly dispute over kids, anyways things escalated until the dads were involved making threats over the fence etc so the lad I no is in the local and the boys are plying him with cider and saying you shouldn’t take his shit, go and sort him out usual pub talk, so at closing time gee,d up by the lads with a belly full of cider matey decides to go home and sort this out, gets the big axe out the shed and wanders round next doors takes

I no some people believe my cause and others don’t that is fine, but what you are saying is spot on, I have been contacted by a journalist for a national newspaper regarding the big cat subject, he had joined the forum and was a member on here just so he could p,m me, I doubt he is the only member to have joined just to view what is being said here. Loose lips sink ships ?

I spent a good time looking for one a few weeks back, heard it screaming but became a game of hide and seek, screamed until I moved then stopped once I stood still a while it started screaming again and so on went on for ages traced it to a big old oak tree but just couldn’t pinpoint it, ??

Listening to others seems the southwest is a bit of a stronghold for hedgehogs, funny you should say that about the varnish as I was about to give them a squirt of aerosol, I put food bowls out front and back last night had 3 at the same time feeding ?

In other types of lure fishing it’s normally a sign they have seen enough spinners and plastics for the year, early doors they hit the lures like a train within a few months follows and odd bumps but none of the suicidal attacks of early season, often find a huge fly will bring a bite when the lures fail later in the year ?

I use the catty myself if the dogs decide to ignore me, never shoot at them just over them stops them in there tracks, also use it to move cows/horses and clear deer from small woods before I enter if I,m in an area near roads etc, a bit like a knife I couldn’t imaging not having one in my pocket and wonder how other people do ? -
I just get my misses to set it up on my iPad so I don’t get to see the results just press play and away you go ??

Here you go just been out for a look around and the only sign left behind by them is this, they have a very small discreet run through the hedge and can squeeze through gaps that they look much to big for a gate in my neighbours garden they pass under has no more than 3” gap under it

Badgers and cars as dytkos has said mate, I made a bit of noise last year about the arsewipe Brian May running a campaign to save badgers then started a campaign to save hedgehogs, the irony of trying to save the cause of the problem and the victim by the same man just shows how far removed from reality these guardians of our countryside really are

I would be saying exactly the same thing mate if I never had cctv cameras running in my garden 24/7 , but as soon as I spot one on the cameras I start putting a bowl of cat biscuits out each night and the numbers just get more and more, haven’t seen any other sign apart from the odd tiny turd they leave behind, but like you can’t remember the last roadkill I saw, ?

These endangered almost extinct hedgehogs are eating me out of house and home, not sure how many I have in total as I feed them in several places and some run from one bowl to another but recon minimum 3 maybe 5 different ones at the moment and still have not seen any little ones , interestingly they seem to roam 3/4 gardens and none of my neighbours even no they are there,so are they as endangered as they say or do we just not spend enough time out side poking about anymore ?????

I,ve never been in the dock when the prosecution weren’t lying, I was innocent I tell you ,??? but on a more serious note the magistrates courts are run by the police and they get the outcomes they want 99.9% of the time, it’s just a massive cash cow only in the big courts were they wear wigs do they follow the law, I actually find it quite amusing when normal folk realise the very people they look to for protection are a bunch of lying weasels more interested in stats than justice and protecting the innocent ?

First ever shop bought catty I bought for myself, it’s good to change things up a bit I find from time to time, just dug my old bill Hayes target sniper out the fork box, it’s a ttf side shooter have rigged it up different in the past but this is how it was made to be shot, been using ott or tubes exclusively for the last year or so and have not fired a ttf fork for ages, moved my target box to the top of the garden and hitting the spinners from the first shot, a change is sometimes a good thing, might even get a bit of that shishou on the PPSG for a go
