  1. It's a different world down in Cornwall I've heard lol.
  2. Do bigger companies trap moles? I honestly don't know, but a few techs from big firms I have spent time with all say that trapping (for them) is too labour intensive lol.
  3. Sorry that is a link to a private group. Try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPxjnkCvORs

  5. But you work at something else full time and do Pest control for beer money as you have said on other threads. You are exactly the type that is the problem. You are an idiot.
  6. That's a good point Talpa. I don't rely on mole work so don't miss the odd bit.
  7. The post above is by one of the numpty wannabe part timers .
  8. What I was saying is this: any fool can catch a mole, and for that matter any fool can catch a mouse, or a rat, a squirrel, rabbit, fox etc etc. But how many fools can make a living at it? Just knowing how to, does not make the man, or make the man a real professional. Losing the odd bit of work to the part timers shouldn't hurt anyone too much, they are after all just amateurs who know a little bit.
  9. In every industry, not just pest control, there is a constant supply of new people coming in. As established, experienced, credible, trained and skilled professionals our competitive advantage is not in restricting the knowledge we have, but in how we apply it.
  10. I got some white satin wood from Wickes. Goes on easy, no drips, looks good too.
  11. Some of us do not reply BECAUSE we do not trap them so can not answer, others are quite probably out and about doing better things than reply straight away, only my opinion So what do yo do with them?
  12. That link doesn't work? Actually, its a good question. Can anyone shoot the foreshore??
  13. I have the opportunity to shoot on walked up day that has an informal dress code. I have one nice o/u and a rather rough sbs. Was thinking about taking a mate but he would have to use the sbs and am thinking it would a look a bit out of place. Any advice?
  14. Err, no. But I lost my setting tool and haven't been using them because of that. I got some of these in France last year, am still a Duffus and Talpex man at heart, however, these were handy around a path...
  15. Yeah right. If you had you would understand how a "tablet" can't get kicked out lol.
  16. Oh no we can't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand what people are getting so worked up about. I just pointed out the suggested method of obtaining what is a delicious addition to any Christmas table was contrary to the Law of the Land. What EDS fella wants to actually do is entirely up to him and his conscience. Personally, there is more money to be made from shooting the birds so that would be my preferred route to table all day every day. Happy days.
  17. Is this the "foreign" section of the forum?
  18. Except for the fact it is completely illegal. I am sure that if you got nicked then the "no harm" defence will work lol. Sadly not. But you can shoot them
  19. Do you realise that Section 5 of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 applies to Game Birds? And I have copied this article in full as I can't explain it as well as the author (it's on the Natural England website). The WCA 1981 only applies to a limited extent to game birds (as defined by the Act), but applies in full to capercaille, common snipe, woodcock and great bustard. The definition of „wild bird‟ used in the WCA 1981 excludes game birds, except in relation to the use of Prohibited Methods (section 5 of the Act) and Licensing (section 16). This means that game birds, the
