    Taking this marking a little further, I spoke to my friend in London who has both Wildcats and Impact so he is a real fan of FX and he sent me this link which shows how to remove the scrape from the tension bar. Might need to know how to do this Si Phil

    Accupel or jsb's. Sometimes use AA. Just depends on which comes out of the box. They all work equally well Cheers Moxy

    The middle gun stood up at the back Moxy, Mk2 with 16'' barrel, don't know if that is yours but any idea what pellets are used in that one. My FAC .22 is also a 16'' barrel and I have not started pellet testing as yet but advised that the shorter barrel can cause issues with lighter pellets so just trying to get in some that will suit it.     Never eaten one Mark but I also believe they are very boney, I'm very happy to have a good fight and let them go for another day. With all the rain today the rivers will be murky so no good for lure fishing and I can't be arsed sitting with dead baits all day so the shooting will take first place as soon as the back lets me until the waters clear then shooting and pike fishing will be shared time for me.     I must bear this in mind guys A bit easier today, good job as we were flooding around the house at 4.30pm and had to have the tanker to pump water away, not gone by any means but not raining at present so when the tide goes out, it will allow some of the surface water to drain off........................................fingers crossed. Getting my waders on was not easy though. Phil

    The marking on the mag is very common and whilst I can't remember what the adjustment or slight polishing is, there is an easy fix that I heard from a number of owners on AGF talk about a little while ago. I can ask Si as someone in London I know has a couple of Wildcats and an Impact. Phil

    Right, any info.............................I have only got my hands on one for about 15mins at the Game Fair where they had a have a go type area where you could try a few rifles out and I chose the Wildcat. It is not like a bullpup with cocking lever in your ear nor does it feel strange in the shoulder as the WC while not having a super shaped comb, it feels as though it does, in fact once in the shoulder it is simply a very quick handling air rifle which shoots superbly in my opinion. As you can tell, I was very impressed and one will be living in my cabinet next year. Phil

    Thanks guys, I am a past master when it comes to back trouble and I don't think this bout is going to be be a major problem just a pain in the arse. When it was bad back in the eighties, I was off work for months until I had surgery but I know this is not going to be so bad providing I manage the situation as I have learned over the years. It is just bad timing, quite a few things to do at the moment which will have to be left in order not to push it over the edge. All four of my rifles have the scopes removed in the process of a change over and I am seriously wanting to get them all sorte

    I bought another gun cabinet a couple of days ago as I am getting a bit tight for space in mine and thought it would be handy to have my most used shotguns and FAC Rapid in a separate cabinet. This one is going to be sited downstairs, easier to get my guns out. Now the new one is a 6 gun cabinet and a bit heavier than the normal 3 or 4 gun units and whilst carrying it through the house to the place it is to be sited......................................................my back went CLICK.
