The title of this thread shouldn't of been " for anyone that didn't know " and should be changed to " for anyone that doesn't understand "!!!

It's already been said but lack of sleep and my motivation takes a dive , I start eating the wrong foods and it all goes the way of the pear. If I've a good routine ie sleep food taking the dogs out no drama I seem to stick at it .

Was reading an article about Japanese Revionist that want to rewrite their history. Basically denying and wrong doing on their behalf and blaming everything on western aggression.

i think people cooks them different ways like another travelling man was saying on another old thread I mentioned about cooking them in a different way , personally me never cooked one and probally never will but would be nice to try one day I suppose, have you ever tried one marshman also wasn't it Bartley Gorman who was or did have a hotchi barbecue but some animal welfare group put a stop to it I know he Tried but cannot remember if they carried it out or not nah mate looks to much like a longtail to me !

cooking a hedgehog in clay so I've been told ain't right , the correct way is . Push a sharp stick through he's arse and out he's mouth then burn of as many of the prickles as you can before skinning . Then when you do skin him you do it from the back not the stomach,Then carry on cooking him . Also again so I've been told you get hedgehogs that taste like pork or lamb or beef apparently they taste like whatever animal that is farmed on the land that is caught ?. Also you only eat them when they're hibernating because here's more on them whereas this time of year there's nowt on them . And las

Lol they won't be so quick to try it next time .. If he'd of just cracked them a few times he'd of probably not faced any charges, Instead of flogging the shite out of them .

I took my daughter and nephews and we all had a really good day , I loved it to be truthful. Theyve got a crocodile skull nothing special there you might say but it's as big as fooking escort van ?and that's just the skull Lord knows how big the rest of it was lol. I just couldn't get my mind around something that big living on this planet, anyway it's a great day out you'll love it !

ah you couldn't dig this mate , I've had to catch a train today and it was on the opposite bank . For a laugh have a guess? Tunnel direct to Calais perhaps ?? LOL.To be honest it looks like a badger moving in to somewhere new. But no matter what's at home it's sandy and needs caution. as the train pulled up and I got on a young fox stuck he's head out , August as well lol .

lol polemic is the word you're looking for ... You're alright mate if you can't remember the word you can if you want to say " stop being a c**t ?... Haven't seen much of him on here lately.
-
completely agree when you talk about " breeding " a litter but I hate to dig my heels in lol , but when picking a pup to use your percentages say if there's four in a litter and 3 turn out to be grafters and 1 a cull , then I you pick yours and me and another 2 men pick ours it's down to sheer luck who gets the dud . Even though you've bred a high percentage of workers that your happy with there's still one that's gonna get lumbered. That's all I was trying to get across mate . ?

without going into detail and splitting hairs about what is the difference between unlucky and as you said unfortunate ( basically they mean the same thing mate). Any man that breeds of course breed for success but the reality of breeding is that they all don't make the grade. And any man that does breed litters with a 100% success rate is a lucky man ... or sorry fortunate man ?Ha, your right MM, as soon as i posted that i knew i should of used another word but couldn't find one and still cant but i know i'd only ever breed a litter knowing i'd done the best i could using knowlage and logic t

foxdropper I understand about breeding and not talking scatter bred breeding where luck does come into it in a big way . I understand that if your breeding correct your cutting down the chances of culls but luck still does come into the equation even out if proper bred dogs. So if luck doesn't come into it let me ask you the same question I ask Morton ( beings as your an out an out digging man and probably expect the same from yours as I expect from mine ) . So of all the litters that you ever breed is every pup a 100 % grafters , have you never bred a cull ?
-
A good write up mate enjoyed that !
-
I don,t understand the" luck factor" in breeding, never have and hopefully never will, luck plays and played no part in any working dog breeding, its a get out clause for a lack of belief in what you have bred,IMO.agree to a certain point Morton , you must've bred a lot of 100 % litters then if no luck was involved and it's all down to breeding ? Edited to add we are talking earth dogs here not bushing dogs ain't we ? All my bushers i expect to work below,id not feed or kennel anything less, ive possibly bred 6 litters of terriers in 30 years,if im to be honest i can hold my hand up and say many
