    Thank you for your kind comments lads, I don't need to tell you lads there's a lot of shitehouses in my people. so I really appreciate it when people give me a fair chance and judge me on for me , even though I don't blame them for distrusting after seeing some of the strokes travellers pull lol . One day I'll have my DNa tested to find out where my genetic markers come from , I could be wrong but I've read of different tribes of nomadic horsemen that moved through Asia and into Europe through the grassland plains of the steppes and nto mainland Europe , the Alan's and Huns also not forgetting the great Khan . Its just a hunch but that's where I think my people come from

    I doubt if it really was easier back then mate . I said similar thing to an old relative and he gave me a wry smile and said " yer you try laying with your arse hanging out of a tent in mid winter lol. A high infant mortality rate hunger was always an issue , what I do believe times where simpler but I suppose that goes for everyone back then no matter where you lived .

    your welcome to come and have a day out with me with the dogs and my family if you want , and although a lot of the proper old ways are dying out ( mind you same could be said for society in general) you'll see that there's a tidy few that are not that rare , and then maybe it won't matter wether you call us traveller or Romany and instead call us friend lol ?

    This is one of my lighter skinned great grandfathers, he's what used to be called a London Lee he had a boxing booth on the fairgrounds, also after a bit of research I found out that he had a granddaughter called violet that married a London Gorger man called Charlie anyway tops up they had twin boys that where quit well known around the East end lol

There can't be that many travellers that have done the 'knowledge' or is there? yes mate that was a very large part of it , also I've got to give credit to my missus who happens to be a privately educated Gorger girl . We lived in a trailer up until three years ago and I needed to change to progress in my life . There's not many that do my job hence I get a bit of stick and probably get called a Gorger behind my back lol

    My great Grandfather it's hard to tell from this pic but he's was very dark in skin colour, he lived all he's life in a wagon and when Ww1 broke out he signed up although he was a traveller he was very proud tone English and a true patriot.

    It's a hard question to answer even for me and I'm a traveller/gypsy call me what you will lol. The reason being there's so much diversity, in my own county alone I can tell the difference between different types of travellers that come from different parts of my county, and that's without going into English Irish Welsh Scottish travellers . I happen to be the dark type you mentioned in your post , I definitely don't look English so much so Turks try to talk to me in Turkish lol.     Why do they use beagles ? I don't know are they any different to other breeds ? Surely there's enough in shelters or stray dogs to use .

    I don't think it's the price mate ... My brother a few years ago bred he's lurcher bitch long story short he ended up gifting the last two them to good homes , he was only after £ each .... Now there's a lad down the road that's selling jack x pug pups for £450 a pup and they're gone before their 8 weeks old .. I don't understand it myself but there you go lol. By the way if I didn't have a yard full of terriers I'd have one in a second and that's saying something as I haven't wanted a lurcher for years ?
