    A mate had one it was s good bushing dog though it never worked to ground. Strange thing was if u didn't no how it was bred you would have sworn it was a fell terrier!

    Agreed the number of terrier men in Kent does seem to be falling. Shame as there used to be a lot of good men and dogs about! I wonder if there still about and just keep to themselves, or the numbers are actually falling!

    A mate that I dig with had just got a young black terrier pup back . He put it in the garden while he had a brew, then he heard the puppy screaming. He jumped up to see a fox running of with the pup in it's mouth. He started after , when the fox ran in an old garage and dropped the pup . The fox swerved his boot an ran of . The pup was wasn't harmed , but my mate believes he was going to be dinner!

    I'm in the same boat, my young bitch is tiny yet the sire is 15 inch and dam 13 . I was gutted that she won't make the size, but she will get the same chance to prove herself when the time is right

    It's nice to hear some names of terriermen of the south that have earned the respect of their fellow sportsmen . Genuine terriermen!!

    I've read about good terrier men from years gone by and they all seem to be from the north . other than a few obvious names I can't recall any of the top of my head that many that come from the south. That's all really, also I what I meant by great is somebody that keeps good working dogs that I might have read about!
