  1. Ferret if you have the money go for a 10 gun cabinet, so you have plenty of space, no doubt you will get a more guns and it will prevent you clattering them about, especially if you have rifles with scopes..
  2. 500 buy, 600 hold is pretty standard. I was going through a lot, and the gun shop I used that stocked Eley were 30 mile away.. So I upped it to 2000 buy 2500 hold awhile ago..
  3. Yup, Im central as well on an FPSO, Production ?? looking for a job ?? lol,, plenty here. I'm happy were I'm at for now RB, its a small platform, no complaints to date, I use to work for ExxonMobil but there out of the north sea now, most of the oil majors have there interests west of Shetland, this last couple of year there's been a lot of projects to extend field life on most of the platforms, so there has been plenty of jobs for all trades of late, not sure how that's going to fare when it quietens down construction wise in the next few years..
  4. Production, I'm with BP at the minute, central north sea.
  5. I've worked offshore in the north sea for 14 year

  7. Just to bump the thread up.. Remember to rate each image with the rating option on the top left showing stars.
  8. Can we start going through the photos, every photo has a RATE option at the top left, which shows stars. Obviously 5 stars is good, 1 star is poor. You can rate every photo if you wanted from good to bad..
  9. I've uploaded one but went to put another on and got this message. What's that all about then? lol Is it over 1mb?
  10. Try this its free and should let you resize. http://picasa.google.co.uk/
  11. Images need to be under 1mb in size. Try reducing the filesize with a photo editor.
  12. Large tanks of water Giro, used for drinking and washing/cooking, if not circulated basically stagnant, bacteria can form. So the sodium hypo is added to prevent growth and keep everyone half healthy. Same for the seawater it prevents the likes of algae, bugs, etc forming in lines, exchangers, etc.. The water comes off supply boats from the mainland, some places make there own water from sea water using reverse osmosis, but they have reliability issues, so there not that common... Anyway sorry to hijack your topic... Roundup is deadly, wiped out my mates full lawn when he tried t
  13. We use sodium hypochlorite for dosing the potable water, we use for drinking at work to prevent bugs/bacteria.. We also produce it using electrolysis for dosing seawater systems. Bleach contains a weak dose of it about 5%
  14. The main problem is certain members create multiple accounts to cause problems and for other nuisance reasons... Genuine members with family using the same computer can look suspicious.. Its a hard one to control..

  16. The option is there.. But its VERY hard to keep all the bad eggs and prying eyes out... In the end someone gets too big and too clever ... Keep it sensible and above board, and post the same here, I left the main website up.
  17. Just use a bodygrip in a cage.Place some natural cover over the cage if you want to conceal it slightly...Then bait the area. The 110's are excellent little traps and cheap in comparison to some of the more expensive ones shown on this thread. There's a lot of options, as you can see, everyones got a different opinion on whats better and why..
  18. This gear any good then, the reviews seem not too bad.. http://www.screwfix.com/p/leyland-acrylic-gloss-paint-brilliant-white-2-5ltr/25344 Is acrylic based paint the same as the water based ?
  19. no idea i leave all that to the Mrs Ha ha too right..I wish, I'm sick of all this DIY malarkey..
  20. I'm overhauling the house at the minute and I've decided to use a water based paint rather than the oil based traditional gloss for the skirting's, etc. I've looked at the leyland acrylic paints, now I'm not sure to go for the water based gloss or the satinwood. Any suggestions from resident painter/decorators , I hate painting by the way...
  21. Welcome to the forum Lorraine, the 12th will soon be on us, before you know it!
  22. I bought a lot of winchesters in because they were local and cheap at the time, they do hit a little harder...but personally I prefer the accuracy and Eley were better in my cz by far. Just an opinion for you..
