Had a 7 meter offshore RIB myself for a couple of years, would get us out 25 miles to a wind farm where the big bass live. Ticked it to a pal and that ended n a story i have posted else where ...Will get another one one day as they are so user friendly and so much safer than a normal boat,

They don't lol, these tests don't just look at your DNA do they, they have access to all the genealogical records as well you know? So, think about it, if your DNA matches with someone and their family tree goes back to the 1600's or whenever, this suggests that the person is one of your ancestors also.

I’d guess they didn’t get the dna from that far back. I assume they match your dna profile with other dna that’s available and build up a “family tree” based on birth, death and marriage records, much like we did before dna records became available. A New Zealand niece of mine did it the old fashioned way, going through council records, visiting graveyards etc. Her task would have been easier and quicker if she had access to modern dna records. Just my take on it, mate. Cheers.

Watch the video to the end mate it’s educated guess work at best

Genuine question, how come they can trace back to let's say the 1600s,how did they get the dna?
