    Genuinely mate, I don’t think we can conduct wars any better than we do…..and you certainly can’t conduct them with vague and ever shifting objectives. But we don’t have the backbone to conduct total war anymore…..you won’t see a western government levelling a Dresden again….we just wouldn’t do it…..not that levelling Dresden did much good as targeted infrastructure was better but you get my drift. what do you think would “lesson the resolve” of the fundamental Muslim ?……I’m genuinely all ears……because I think they only understand one language.

    There’s a lot of nuances in Sharia executions and amputations. A devout Muslim must have all his body parts when he dies and is buried, or he cannot enter heaven. When a murderer is executed, his head isn’t buried with his body, so he can’t ascend to heaven.     I don’t know about Pakistan ,but the way Sharia law is done in Saudi, a death penalty can be commuted to life in jail if the victims family ask for “blood money” from the accused family. If they don’t , that’s it, no appeals, it’s head off Cheers.
