Funny how it goes I was only saying on some topic a couple of weeks ago for all the stuff that went on years ago and the hatred that went with it and by god for a while there was some hatred. This just came into my head, very possibly a senile musing. About 40 years back a mate of mine hooked a salmon well over 40 lbs. It snapped his rod and then his line . I still get an adrenalin rush whenever I get a flashback to it. The next day he caught a 28 pounder. But he said himself it was a tiddler in comparison. That event was defnitely a 40 odd pounder.
