  3. Daniel is a painfully shy kid.....i mean im not the most compassionate person in the world especially around " the other lot ".....but i watch his interviews and see him trying to shout and growl at people and it quite upsets me as the lad just isnt that person......innocent is the perfect description.....it sounds cruel but the kid is thick as shit,if he had his way he'd just sit in his bedroom playing computer games and let his Dad do all the talking and selling of fights......when his back is against the wall he instinctively looks for a comfort blanket....and thats his father sadly.......l
  4. Oh wow thats brilliant mate good find i'll have a watch of that tomorrow.....i was born literally 3 minutes from that gym, most local lads like myself have trained there at one point or another even fighters as very few boxing gyms back in the 70's/80's had weights......its a lovely old gym with a nice community feel about it,always was.....behind it is the Avebury Estate not a particularly pleasant place full of dealers and little gangster types but even they have the respect to stay clear of the place.....im sure you know the score in many gyms when somebody is doing a heavy lift you'll give
  5. One theory, another theory is that because the fauna of Africa evolved alongside humans, they were almost impossible to tame and difficult to hunt whereas those that left Africa encountered animals that had never met humans so were easier to tame. As you say though, perhaps encountering alien lands made those that left Africa more adaptable and creative.
  6. i think you think about food to much
  7. often thought about that exact question.............having spent many years there the reason (i think) is because of the seasons/weather.............. in Europe there are seasons where there is nothing to eat wise ...so the northern hemisphere had to learn to lookforward into the future and prepare for the time of cold and little food.....the ability of looking into the long term future is something we take for granted the African has a very poor ability to look further than a few days and they have an almost no existent spacial abilty thats how it seems to me what do you
  8. I don't believe that at all, not all are zealots, in fact most are not. If it was as you say, we would literally have thousands or millions committing jihad against us, that's clearly not the case is it?
  9. That's not really true though is it because you, me and the rest of the globe descended from people that migrated out of Africa relatively recently in our existence. As for why, it's probably multiple reasons, climate, geography, flaura, fauna. A good book to read for you is Guns, Germs & Steel, thought provoking.
  10. Yep, that was my thoughts about it all.
  11. Pisses me off to see boxers calling him "his excellency" and grovelling to him. A little insignificant prick with a lot of money, but he puts money in boxers' pockets and puts on fights we wouldn't have seen otherwise. So the little fella wearing the sheet over himself with the false nose and specs is here to stay I'm afraid
  12. Heavyweights dont rehydrate at all.....i dont think thats right 20 lbs from the first Fury fight i thought Usyk was around 220 for that fight and came in at 227 yesterday......i think the extra few lb suits him ,gives him the confidence to stand and trade if he has to without effecting his speed and movement.
  13. Every Muslim (let’s say muslim for some context) is a Muslim and brother of another Muslim before family, country, state, position in life, passport, nationality or even race……an offence to one is an offence to all, a jihad to one is a jihad to all…..when one falls another stands up in his place…..today a newsagent or solicitor or bus driver, tomorrow a soldier of Islam ! How do you spot the zealots when everyone is a zealot ? hope that clears the question up.
  14. The man has no understanding of the game......but sadly Frank Warren/Hearn etc are having to arse lick him so much that he's calling the shots.
  15. Let’s say scientists are about right and that African has about a 200,000 year head start on the rest of humanity…….why then does it look like Africa ? Wheres it’s Notre Dame or it’s Whitehouse or it’s Windsor or it’s Prague or it’s Versailles or scientific or industrial inventions ?
  16. I know it's been said on here, that for this dubois rematch, usyk was 20lbs heavier than when he fought fury for the first time. I don't know if I missed it when I watched it Saturday, but in the 1st fury fight usyk weighed in at 223.5lbs, the 2nd fury fight usyk weighed in at 226lbs, and this dubois rematch usyk was 227.3lbs, that just doesn't equate. Just to add, I know they can rehydrate etc, but not so much, if at all, at heavyweight. And usyk been doing alot of strength/power work for this fight, so would appear a tad heavier?
  17. What do you mean by that? I don't believe that they all support the zealots.
  18. In religions where everyone is a brother before and above everything else…..how do you spot the zealot ? Genuinely interested to know
  19. Pushy dads are the worst thing for a kid. Kids who experience that kind of pressure never become individuals in their own right. Thierry Henry had a critical father. If he scored a hat trick, his dad would say you should have scored ten. He reckons his dad led to his success but f****d him up as a person. There's something gullible and innocent about Dubois. He has no spite about him at all. If he he blasts a man out in a few rounds he looks sensational. But the longer bouts go on, the more self doubt sets in. He's Like M Tyson and like Foreman against Ali. No mental strength.
  20. We book Usyk as a small heavyweight but in that 70's era he wouldnt have been small....hard to judge on different eras of course but from a pure boxing point of view i dont think guys like Frazier,Norton,Foreman would have coped with his boxing Iq or understood his movement....again different eras.......also its worth noting theres never been an elite heavyweight southpaw that in itself would of caused nightmares for those guys....a peak Holmes would of been a brilliant match up,but yes im going top 5 or 6 for Usyk now.
  21. Was watching earlier, that turki fella wants to put itauma against usyk!! I just can't take to the little nerk, regardless of the fact more fights we want to see are happening. Just don't trust anyone that thinks that by throwing a shedful of money at someone, is the right way to go about things. Just seen jukel's post,
  22. This is where i see it slightly different to most from watching the lad from very young.......im not a Tyson fan at all,i agree with everything Atlas says about him.....but i do think Tyson was an instinctive fighting man......Dubois is not and never has been......my bet with Tyson is that as a youngster it was boxing or nothing.....Dubois could have done any power sport from 100m sprinter to Rugby he was talented at all sports and just an outstanding physical specimen.....it was his father that wanted him to be a fighter.....he was the equivalent of these Sunday morning football Dads you see
  23. Probably not imo. I remember Boudin Brown saying after the first fight." The car hasn't been out of the garage for 3 years". Fair comment I reckon.
  24. TOMO
