martin 332 Posted July 30, 2008 Report Share Posted July 30, 2008 Diesel ignites under compression, petrol needs a spark, so I would mix some petrol in, this wont compress and ignite so in drastic circumstances could bend a con rod.................. I think!! It won't do anything unless you put an awful lot in,cos we used to put a gallon of petrol in the site engines to stop the diesel waxing in freezing temperatures..............Martin.
