I know all the posties by name and they all go the extra mile to help. That goes two ways. I put a note on my door saying no election canvassing. I can't be bothered reading it or answering the door . But the posties told me they get paid extra for posting election stuff so I agreed to take it. Any canvassers who come to the door I set my Mrs on them. They tend not to return. The Royal Mail is changing to a parcel service. They are putting the price of stamps up to crazy levels to discourage letters. The company is owned by a Czech billionaire.
