I’ve never dabbled in politics ever mate, I’ve volunteered in roles in my community in schools and sport but nothing more than that.

Now, I don’t live in my own nation anymore so it’s a non starter from that point of view and even if I did I’d never pass scrutiny.
I can however still make comment on what I see as a private person on a forum like this.

Shame I would honestly 100% vote for a Rupert Lowe and Wilf combination 😍 😂 and agree on your last point but I can tell you saw where I was going ?

I can get on my soap box with the best of them but I dont have the inclination, time or most importantly temperament to go into politics. Perhaps that's why we just have to accept what we got, career politicians and councillors and make the best of whats out there if we cant put our money where our mouth is ?

Thats not a dig just cant see what other option if half the population struggle to even get of their sofas and  put a cross on a ballot paper for change.

I don’t agree mate, I think ordinary peoples conversations matter more than ever….at the end of the day, we still hold the power, they need peoples vote and we can push them in directions if we choose to.

Also, never was it more important to show that ordinary people can say truth out loud in your ordinary day to day interactions….we absolutely don’t have to accept “it’s just the way it is and that’s who we end up with”

Whats the saying ? “It’s how many times you can get knocked down and keep going” ?
I’ve seen with my own eyes how the people in your daily life get caught up in all this “oh, you can’t say that” but all they need is just a couple of people going “Nah, that’s bollocks” and they will join in…..little acorns all the time despite the constant setbacks.

There nothing to inspire them mate…..and if we want to get them inspired we can’t be guilty of keep making the same mistake either.

Lets be honest a great deal of the inspiration that got the Greens into Gorton and Denton was the fact that a vote for Reform was being touted as a vote for division and Racism. How would Reform going further right make a difference to the 47% who voted, it would have cut the vote, even if they would have picked up Advance UK's vote it was only 170. And you cant honestly think the 53% who didnt vote had a far right inclination and Reform were too centrist for them to get of their sofas?

I dont know mate I hope your right but I wish we could just sort this crap out now by the right uniting especially whilst you got The Greens dividing the left wing vote, if ever there was a perfect time.

Starmer dunt want it now he's been pushed into by trump. Of all the parties you think any are going to be that different all just say what they think people want to hear then feck us just that little bit more making our country worse and worse

Fair view, I had a different view in as much as I just thought the Greens knew who would vote for them and went after them…without shame, without apology…..they made a video in Urdu, they wasn’t  worried they would “alienate” or “offend” white British people…..Did not give a flying f**k, they knew the audience and they played to them.

Contrast that with Labour, Tory, Reform all jumping about like a cat on a hot tin roof, shitting themselves in case they say the wrong thing or offend some f***ing minority or ethnic group, trying to be down with the tribes by making sure there are plenty of the tribes involved, calling people “dangerous ethno-nationalists” and “Neo Nazis” ??!!!…….they can f**k off !
They lost because they stand for nothing !
