gnasher16 31,733 Posted Friday at 23:57 Report Share Posted Friday at 23:57 Andrei Smaev first came to folks attention during Covid he was doing some mental lifts at a young age.....very unusual specimen his bone density is off the charts he's got 10 inch wrist circumference if im not wrong !......not sure what his competitive desire is like but hopefully he picks a sport pretty soon and doesnt just waste his gifts on crappy Youtube/Instagram videos .....i know he's trained with some decent arm wrestlers and held his own he could probably go straight in and pull a few top 10 guys he wouldnt stand a chance yet with the very best but if he can stay injury free and refine his technique its hard to see many being able to stop him with 5 or 6 years experience behind him......or maybe he'll go into strongman stuff or bodybuilding who knows....do something competitive though.

The thickness and size of his hands would be a problem for anyone but Denis Cyplenkov not only had that freakish hand size but also held the strict bicep curl world record for a while at around 250lb yet he rarely beat John Brzenk.....freak strength and power is great for an arm wrestler but ts not the be all and end all i always use the race car analogy.....huge numbers of torque and bhp in the garage doesnt mean its going to transfer down onto the track through the driven wheels.....likewise huge numbers in gym lifts doesnt make an arm wrestler.....Brian Shaw being a good example at the moment.
