I always think if they built a pick up that you can jet wash out, no electric seats, handbrake, parking sensors the lot, just wind down windows, heater , radio that’s it I reckon would sell well. My Mrs can start her car and put the heating on it from her mobile ffs

The Toyota Champ is just that;

Under $10,000, but sadly not available here or I’d have one .

Cheers.

If like me you watch a bit of youtube...usually political stuff...it can get on your tits ....so it's nice to look at bits of old film like this....of course it can make you sad cos we won't get it ba

Some brilliant films on youtube like the one Tomo posted. My 5 year old Grandson spends most of his time in doors glued to a ipad so I try to get him out and about and interested in working with

I did nt mean good going mate for 40,000 , those effing things normally go wrong well before that, I agree it’s disgraceful, I’ve had Isuzu trucks off eBay that have done 175,000 on them and I’ve taken it over 200,000 without a murmur. My sisters got a new Peugeot, no end of problems too. They make them unreliable with electric gremlins. Chatting to some friends, one mentioned a car without all the electrics etc would sell, my other mate a mechy said wouldn't stand a chance of passing emissions without all computers , game over.

Great days groups of us kids playing in the rough fields. Hiding behind turned over cars throwing bricks at each other. Top tip don’t peep over the top when it goes quiet. That hurt. Running round the fens with my homemade bow arrow after pheasants. That was a roaring success :(

trips to wales in the reliant robin with granddad

later on the copper at door were you digging badgers sir your van was spotted. No officier. Ok that’s fine bye

much better times never appreciated it back then bloody do now

I was fortunate as a young kid although mostly solo I was in the sticks with guns and knives messing about in the woods , when we moved to towns it was BMX adventures and fishing , a lifetime away from my teens.

I used to have a yard full of mk1 granadas ready for banger racing prep, if I got a better one in than my road car I just swapped the tax disk and number plate .

I had a 2.8 Ghia X when I was about 18, lovely motor…..loved that car at the time…..this would have been 1989, all the boy racers giving it big licks in badly done up heaps, that 2.8 auto wiped the floor with all of them.

It was totally standard as I like standard cars without silly add ons.

Saying that, my Jaguar XJR supercharged was also pretty fun to play with but the juice broke your heart ! lol
