Gooey, to be honest, with the messing about you've had the last couple of weeks already, your vet sounds a bit like what your dog is lying on.

Not picking at you, Gooey, but with all your years with dogs, and the dog people around you, I'm genuinely quite surprised that this problem has got so far.

Good luck with your dog.

I'm about lost with it to be honest mate like now it is twice the size but you'd have to really squeeze it for a yelp from him im thinking more hes damaged it a week ago broke or ligament tendon damage and nothing to do with the hole a fortnight before

he will yelp at the bottom of the toe but not the nail bed and its not hot

Going to be rest I recon but ill pop.see greyhound vet in a few days

How many times you had it to the vet over this?

It's never going to heal if it's not rested, six maybe more weeks so it's going to be January if not longer before running again,.

Hope it comes right for you

I allways keep a bottle of penc and axcillen the injection get,s to work quicker small dose everyday until it show,s sign,s of healing up.There getting harder to get as they don,t like selling em to me now.
