What do you use, I use them nail clippers for humans the ones you press together, do the first cut then go in again to try and make sure you get the full bone out, I’ve seen some right bodge jobs by other lads when they havnt done it properly and the nail grows back later on, I find if you use sharp scissors they bleed out to much, them nail clippers much better

Thread scissors pal. Arched ones straight in behind the joint. Little bit iodine. Job done

I never mate had planned to but totally forgot all about it until it was too late.

not too fussed though my Bitch still got hers and never had ounce of bother with them there just extra nails gotta take care of them like you would do the ones on their toes, always grind them down when I’m doing the other nails. Short and strong and never had any bother

Must be a steady bitch is she, the fast ones always seem to get trouble with them

Not as much as you that’s for sure, might catch the odd duffer 😅 no hope it make a topper for you you never know your luck, Tom had a pure once that killed 5/5 but stubble time it killed plenty of hares but said it was no good in the heavy going

like i say mate theres very few can kill the strong uns  in the heavy going

the best me old man had was a pure regulary do 5-6 mate not just the odd time shanes dad noddy mentions that  dog in the book luke that my old man took em out with  when they was at school that killed 7  that  was a linebred 3/4 my old man bred luke to a greyhound then a pup back to the pure that could do 5s weekly aswell

the only differnce is less roads and you walked were you wanted

Deacon wasn’t any good in the heavy either, i think pures havnt got the muscle mass for the heavy but when you combine there stamina with a bit of muscle power from other breeds thats when you get dogs that can handle the heavy going

How.many are good in. The heavy mate ? Especially seed the ones kill just keep.going no.quit speed muscle doesn't come into.it I wouldnt say them dogs were known for.been relentless

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
