I don't know what you mean by easier your running a hare on top of the ground endurance test really terrier if you think about it they have to go into the dark work an animal with teeth stay put don't move while getting the muzzle hammered off it to me there's no comparison a terriers job is more difficult then running hares I've dug terriers out dead how many dogs have you seen would push themselfs to blow up at a hare before they just jack I've showed you my old terrier there well hit they'll still get lumped in and BTW when you've a terrier at 10 year old would you not say for a start if it made it to that age its a worker not a quitter and if its missing body parts and still going that's a good one they've to stay take punishment in the dark by themselfs no back up can't shout them on with encouragement its just them and the animal  ino what type of dog I think  it would be harder to get lol

Terriers at 11 - 12 be used and dug to a few times 

Coursing bred ive never seen a 12 year old kill hares like it did at 4

Honestly sitting with a boner cause your dog caught a hare off a 15 yard slip good crack the shouting and all but let's face it when you've to shout the dog on that's when your starting to panic

That run was the young 16 month old dog with a 150yd slip.plus and it was 4 and half mins plus st crimbo your starting to.panic mate I was buzzing
