Lot of people have tried to make a few quid by putting books together and it doesn't matter who the author they all gloryfy their story's, 

Let's face it plummer was a good story teller,

See really that was probably the man's intentions when he wrote a book for entertainment I'm sure plenty of kids or general Joe's read them and got interested in hunting let's face it  as you say as soon as they put pen to paper they can write what they want... like mchull  it's never a 30 yard slip it's always 250 he just gets carried away once that dyslexia kicks in measurements and spelling go out the window
