If anyone rings that I don’t know the number I never answer anyway. Pulling off scams however? I could write a book I get them all the time. I cut them short by saying" I'm a vulnerable pensioner, let's cut the crap I'll just give my bank details now shall I?" Had a bloke call me one day in a heavy Asian accent telling me to check my computer. I told him to f**k off and he damn near cried laughing . It was my son. I have a mate who was really ill at one point. He got a call from an Asian bloke. He gave him short shrift and told him to f**k off. Asian rang again. "Hello, this is your GP." It was. Embarrassment wasn't the word. Edited yesterday at 18:14 by jukel123 1
Halfhound 427 Posted yesterday at 18:32 Report Share Posted yesterday at 18:32 It’s just dawned me I was a victim of a scam lately. Some guy had offered to bet me £5000 that I wouldn’t be in Doncaster within the month. I booked my flights and arranged lodgings to collect my money but the guy disappeared off the face of the earth. €130 that flight cost me. The train from Doncaster to King’s Cross wasn’t cheap either but it wasn’t a bad journey. You live and learn I guess

I’m not 100% on the details but I know he definitely has his issues. I’ve heard rumours he’s regularly beaten by his Eastern European wife but I couldn’t say for sure

Daniel cain 49,403
I don't have a letterbox,we have a lock box thing on the wall next to the door for mail etc...few months back I've opened it and there's a letter from the DVLA,a log book for a grey 57 plate focus...in the name of a Mark Smith ... registered to my address.... So I spent 2 hrs on the phone, and reported the fraud..they put a nation wide ANPR warning out on it....week later I'm getting letters failed to stop, and dangerous driving... 2 times, same area,so they must of been travelling back and forth a workplace etc because of the times and roads on the charge sheet..Asked around, 3 lads with the name Mark smith, none of them was driving or owned a focus....even drove around a few evenings ,looking for the car,in a few likely places....Mrs was telling me to let it go lol... In the past,I've had problems with scruffy cnuts using my address for credit for mobile phones and sky TV etc...turned out to be a neighbour a few doors away...cheeky cnut... When I first moved back to my home town, from Cardiff and we bought the house...woke up one day and both my wheelie bins was missing walked around, and found them ,next street over....so I bang the door, and some fat slag with her half chat kids, opens the door...I asked her why she had taken my bin? She starts trying to gob off...I then asked her...why the f**k does your new bin say Cardiff council on it and every other cnuts say Caerphilly borough? She couldn't close the door quick enough,I used to walk past her back garden and sling the dog shit I had collected all week from my dog runs ... straight over her fence..washing on the line etc..did it for probably 2 yrs ,until they moved.....I now have cameras on the front door and letterbox, sends me a message every time it's triggered..if you stop outside then it gives you a verbal warning lol and tells you to do one

Got to the point they had to bring the other driver round my house to say “No, that’s not the bloke !” f***ing cozzers when I spoke to them fist off about it, got some inspector and he spoke to me like I was upto no good….his tone and manner was that bad that in the end I had to stop him and say “Oi you cheeky c**t, who do you think you’re talking to…..what part of it’s not f***ing me don’t you get ?”
