There's no land cruisers made in Thailand.. and I've welded enough of them up to know they don't rot any quicker than usual.. they just don't have as much under body protection put on .. buy one and underseal/waxoil it and it'll last

SORRY, It's the Hilux thats manufactured in Thailand. The newer landcruisers DO rot quicker. Doesn't matter how much underseal you put on the outside. They rot from inside too...

I personally have had and seen older landcruisers that haven't had as much rot as new ones. They're using crap steel for the chassis now.

I'm with Arry. I've had my x trail for around 6 or 7 years , and I've worked it pretty hard in that time. It's a brilliant all rounder . It drives like a car on the motorway and about town , and

I've got a 2011 Hilux single cab turbo diesel 4wd and a petrol 99 Nissan Pathfinder 4wd and have had them many years without any problems. The Nissan is built like a tank and probably uses as much fuel as one, lol but I bought it for the mrs after a bad smash in her Suzuki. I think Suzuki's are good driving around a farm but not safe on the highway.

I got a 2007 x trail. Set of insa turbo all terrain tyres and does me for work and hunting following hounds. Haven’t beaten it yet but like to think I know its limitations. Just watch for rust. Plenty of power cruise control heated seats. Decent mpg

Good engines but big heavy average on wet land and mud

In a desert dry there great I recon

That is true, I remember snatch strapping a bogged Landcruiser out of soft ground with the little Suzuki which just drove over the top of the ground. Landcruisers are still no 1 for right out bush over here.
