It's not just young lads dai I'm 54 and there's lads I went to school with dabbling at weekends with coke I know for some they lost everything homes marriage etc but the young lads take it to far and I let a young lad go because he went from a hard worker who was quick to pick things up and learn to a lazy liability shame he was a nice lad hes awaiting a operation on his stomach now due to ketamin I tried to tell me countless times were he was heading

I've worked with addicts, and I've seen people from all walks of life ,some had everything mate , business, big house ,cars ,wife family and they lost the lot for sniff .

Some you can just not help because they have given up ,others you have to wait until they have hit rock bottom for them to want to change .

I would visit prisons all over UK trying to help people get into rehabilitation and I can honestly say out of every 20 only 1 or 2 would stay clean if any .

I'd work with homeless and get them off the streets but once in a flat ,room a lot would just let dealers sell from it, some people you just not able to help until they are ready to change and some sadly will never change

Iv been in construction 45 years and never seen so many Monday Mongs on site as in the last couple of years what a f***ing waste of money

One of the reasons I've let all my tickets go...every site you go on... your constantly carrying lazy cnuts...if it's not the boys on the ground,it's the slimy office lot too...try and hang you out to

No it wouldn’t !……as it stands if you get pinched with a few kilos of class A you are getting weighed off with 18 year ! Sentences have never been so harsh and you couple them up with POCA orders

My last job was working with people with addiction, the amount of people I used to see and from all walks of life ,a lot who take coke really believe it's ok to do it because it's the in drug ,

It turns people into scum bags that don't give a toss about anyone not even themselves in the end .

This government like the last spends millions on immigrants, Ukraine etc but what they should be doing is spending money to help fix the problems we the British people have ,

Coke is everywhere loads taking it of all ages but ket seems to be the drug alot of youngsters are doing and physically it's destroying there stomach loads have to have bags fitted and mentally there just monged out of it I agree not enough is being done moocher from addicts that want or need help to the homeless even ex service men with PTSD are just forget about more needs doing for them all

A habit is all consuming and the only mates you have are other junkies, when you stop or try to stop you have to stop everything in your world.Your mates, your whole way of life and if i can sort of put it this way?, try not thinking about hunting or say your every day job, stop seeing and talking to all your mates and then change every habit of every day and add on that feeling so ill sometimes you just want to die and you knowing it only takes a bag to send the suffering your feeling right then. It's our or there own faults that is true but it is a massive task and 1 in 20 is pretty good going, but you do have to hit your rock bottom and be just fed up of just surviving before you want out and are willing to walk the path of getting clean as it ain't a easy one..But nice one for your help and some will have had their lives changed because of it Moocher, good man..:victory:

It’s an epidemic …. I’ve been through it and out the other side …. Became normalised around something enough it becomes acceptable next thing you know it’s got it’s hooks in you and once there in f**k it’s a hard one

sites are rampant up here with it that and the offshore lads they have a real struggle when they come into recovery and tbh without quitting or taking a substantial period of work there unlikely to get stay sober

it’s all about harm reduction rather than complete abstinence the way the services are helping but when you go to your doctor and he just gives you Valium and tells you to cut down there’s not much support or help there that’s where a 12 step program comes in

been 2 years since I touched it and see when I here young lads talking about it today doesn’t sound like cocaine feck knows what it’s cut with but there all going into serious psychosis and if they go onto the pipe that’s a whole new level

It's pure now

I think any middle aged man doing young man’s things is sad as f**k…..I don’t know about anyone else but I remember being in my 20s and seeing blokes in their late 30s, 40, mid 50s in the pubs and clubs off their face and trying to hold on to their youth and I used to think “f**k off you sad prick !”

They were people to be made fun of ! ………I never wanted to be that bloke.

I did plenty before I had something to live for, enjoyed (mostly) every f***ing minute but as the poem says, there comes a time to put away childish things.

I’ll always say to anyone, the trouble with coke (and I can only speak retrospectively as I have no idea what anything getting served up the last 30 years is like) is that it’s so f***ing good !

I can remember we used to sit round a place playing cards, have a big block of Charlie on a little plate in the middle of the table and just carve off bits like we was having cake !

Then the bourbon would come out, then we would head out and land back however many hours late with a few dirty little sorts and carry on……it’s definitely an experience being 6 grams deep and sitting back on a sofa with a bottle of wild turkey while some absolute little filth pot wraps her chops round your cock as Lynard Skynard plays in the background !…….and the weekend would just sort of carry on like that, everything was fun, violence, sex, good music….all fun as f**k and fuelled by copious amount of top quality Charlie !

It’s a one way ticket but f**k me, what an experience !

But I think anyone with half a clue looks at that and realises it’s a young man’s job, like it’s amazing when your 20 but you look a right f***ing case when your 38 !

Young mens things should be left to young men, grow up and get out of their way.
