Kind of pointless worrying about breeding yet if your bitch is that young as you don’t know really what she’s lacking yet to try compliment the breeding that you would like to take place in the future

For what it's worth..give your bitch a few seasons, and work out what it is you think will improve her....if it's more speed/stamina- then go coursing bred..if it needs more heart for a task-then  line

Yes soft b*****ds these deerhound crosses

At 16 month old , a dog , particularly one as cumbersome as a deerhound type is no where near proven enough to breed off .

a lurcher taking hares rabbits and rats, wow , stop the press

for what it’s worth , I’d say that your better off holding your horses rather than getting all sentimental about having a half cross from a pup that’s had one season, if that .

Another season would do you the world of good , but you seem set in it , a shame really as every man and his dog knows that scrap , put to scrap , equals scrap

Lot of money in scrap tho Harold
