Better off going on about your business quietly mate it’s always the same you get those loud mouths that shout from the roof tops that they’ve got the best daytime dogs in the country only to be then to be disappointed when you find out theyve exposed themselves Lamping hares in September always the same.
good luck for the season ahead mate

A wouldn't mind if Mick had put that pup on the back of one on lamp. Then held it back till next season. But that dog running isn't a pup. I'm a big believer that if you keep lamping a day time dog. Many will pull up at cover through the day. Some register that when they hit this wall of cover to stop. Because many that are inexperienced with lamps turn the lamp off once missed at the edge of cover. That is due to not wanting the dog hunting up when poaching. Which we all want the dogs back once they've missed if game is scarce. But for any day time coursing dog specially if your matching the dog on a weekly basis. That's a no no. But MC will tell you different. But what do I know eh.

The pics I put up are from Australia, where hunting is not only legal, but encouraged, you even got paid a bounty on fox.

My memories of hunting , both here and around the world , are in my head, and also in my game books and on the walls of my “man cave”.

I’ll not hide something I’m proud of.
But, as I always say, I’ll respect others opinions, even though I may not necessarily agree with them.

Have a good season.

Cheers.

You have to work with the dog but at the same time enjoy it I enjoy having a lamp if I'm honest and dogs dont mind lol

He’s set that many challenges and pulled out some already think he’s really feeling the heat mate , he knows you were going to show him a few spots early October so he’s hammering his older dogs on soft game in case they make a mockery of his pre season boasting he Will have they dogs peaked for November lol top dog men have confidence in their dogs and build them up for the proper hares , Seen it all before mate his reputation is at stake it’s hanging by a tack at the moment lol

Don't you mean you do more on the f***ing lamp than day time. 😂 You can't trick an old dog Mick. Show me your dog come bang winter hitting some thick sloe berry cover or some thick black thorn hedge pushing threw.
