When it comes to politicians of every political shade, someone else is paying for something ! Which as it happened just made a question pop up in my head, is it more disgusting that an Arab oil billionaire buys Trump a plane or that a working class miner pays for an education for Dennis Skinner that his kids will never get ? There’s a moral conundrum for you mate ? lol

If you leave school at 14 ( I know we left at 13 due to circumstances beyond our control lol) then standing up in parliament with a working class accent and a rudimentary education would be very intimidating. So the education was paid for so he could compete on an equal basis. Skinner became a bit of a pantomime turn. I didn't really rate him. Eventually neither did his constituents and he failed to be elected last time round. Edited 5 hours ago by jukel123

Yep, understand all that mate, but as you have acknowledged the point is they are all poncing off someone and justifying it……he could have worked his own way through as most have to do but he didn’t ! Ive been watching “Band of Brothers” again on the telly and there was a great line in it that is wisdom I think for people in positions of leadership, one officer is talking to a new officer and he says “Never put yourself in a position where you take from these men” Thats called integrity and it’s sadly lacking in politics…..my point is, don’t bother looking for it because you won’t find it, just choose whatever weapon best suits your purpose at the time.

I greatly respected a foreman I had once. He had developed an excellent way of managing men. Whenever there was a horrible job to be done. He would say " come on lads. I never ask you to do something I wouldn't do myself". And he was as good as his word. He would do the horrible jobs just to set an example. Poloticians don't do that. 2

"Supermarket sweep" Strangely enough I have a lot of time for Galloway, don’t get me wrong I fundamentally disagree with most of his views?, ideology ?, world view ?……but some of it I do agree with and I also respect that he seems fairly honest about his beliefs no matter what the cost to himself politically or reputation wise. I have the same sort of opinion of Corbyn funny enough……he is a disease but he is a fairly honest disease.

It's not about being pro or anti trump.....it's that he's our best option. And a lot of the accusations about trump could be laid at the Clintons ten fold and the fact that they aren't again says more about the brain washing of the left than anything trump is guilty of

It's time the current crop of politicians/MP's and everyone else in government,is f****d off...and we start from scratch picking the new members from Joe Public....that's the only folks who got our real interests at heart....every cnut else is in it for the money and imaginary power
